A research scholar from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, IIT Roorkee, has been found dead in the Ganga canal. The student belonged to Nainital and was raised solely by his mother after the demise of his father.

What makes this tragedy even more disturbing is that the student had reportedly already submitted complaints against a professor to higher authorities as well as the ministry. If IIT Roorkee had handled the matter with seriousness, sensitivity, and responsibility, perhaps this young life could have been saved.

Sadly, this is not an isolated incident. In recent years, cases of suicide and severe mental distress among students at IIT Roorkee have continued to rise, yet the administration appears indifferent. Institutions cannot continue to ignore repeated warnings and then remain silent after tragedies occur. Accountability, transparency, and a genuinely supportive environment for students are urgently needed.

i, 20f will be arriving on 21st may. my mom and mama are gonna show up too for the sake of dropping me. soo where can i get accommodation for them for a day? (make it cheap travel mei already 10+ k chale gaye).

Recently, when admitted, I was very very very wronged by a doctor who is a senior medical officer. he hurt me pretty bad and i have a bruise right in the middle of my chest because of which i cant bend certain times. he said im only there for disturbing the peace of others and im pretending to faint.

Background on my condition - I have anxiety spectrum disorder with dissociative episodes in which my body when under stress, gives up and i have no energy to even open my eyes. it looks as if ive fainted but I've not. it's my body response and I can't control it.

it happened when i was admitted today, that attack, and he came in knudged his knuckles so hard right in between my chest and twisted and turned it while i was screaming. he did it again and threated me to stop pretending having these attacks or else this is the only way you'll be getting up.

my chest is bruised and now it even hurts to move.

I have observed that the Brahmins and baniyas are the most dominant groups in the college(in the general category), is there a reason for it?

I love it when before any exam I have to undergo checking by the guards. I love it when he slides his fingers down my pockets softly caressing my skin and touching my thighs. I makes me wanted and love like never before. When he grabs my ass i resist my urge to moan in front of the crowd. It is one of the few moments of pleasure that comes before my doomed fate in the exam.

You might argue that we don't need anyone to have a walk. Some people might go as far as to say that walking alone is a "state of mind" , the hell it may be so if you are wandering in a jungle with no humans. But in a tightly packed campus like ours where the population density is astronomical, walking alone feels like you are doing a ramp walk on some international fashion show. Almost everyone feels that 'spotlight effect' and it's a very terrible thing, you think, you even have trouble breathing. So that's a no option.

​Then you are just left with a few options. You can beg to your "busy wasting time friends" – they are always busy doing something but they do nothing. They never go anywhere. All they do is reject everything of lightest joy. So asking them hits way hard on your ego that you never ever try again. On the other hand, may God be merciful and provide you with a girlfriend, then you're never gonna have this problem.

​So what do I do, I resent myself for wasting my time in movies, books, and social media. What other options do I have? I wanted a life where I would work and excel and at the same time doing cool things college kids would be doing. At least be a part of a great social life. So that's what happened. I didn't get a very good social life and it affected my progress.

​Now I've realized that first comes progress and then other things follow up, not the other way around. After all, I've never had many friends and never a best friend, so why did I expect to change things just because I came here? Or maybe I was unlucky to not find a good circle. Whatever! It's now time to do the "main" thing and dessert will arrive later.

Context : Current 2y/3y are required are to empty out their rooms for the vacations
Issue : Why? its not necessary, what was the purpose of shifting people to individual rooms from 2nd year onwards if you have them emptying out every year (common sense of so called IIT graduated Profs / Faculty)

To Student Hostel Representatives (Whatever you guys are called), ig you were elected and the only thing you have done after being elected is suck third legs, unplaced dumb mfs, do the job you were elected for, theres no transparency, everythings based on word of mouth, no emails, no wonder yall are high and busy in divine and what not

To faculty: Bruh, arent you IIT graduates? are u even? because ig common sense doesnt exist at all. are you also supposed to empty out your house when ur not in campus? I KNOW FOR A FACT there are not more than 1000 kids who want to pursue internship in this shit campus. you can easily accomodate them (if u even provide this facility) in RJB because those people have to empty out there rooms due to room change in 2y.

Kindly start solving some case studies, aptitude questions to increase knowledge. common sense has no solution sadly.

Bhai im just so sick of my kb hostel admin. Itne chutiye supervisor and chief warden hain , why the fuck do they have so much ego , theyre here for serving us , were not here to serve them . The fact that ki koi issue resolve karana ho , they are the most velle and negligent people , office timings pe milte nhi hai , vaise call kardo bhadwiyo ko to bolti hai this is not the right time . Bc kab baat karu mai . Ek to inhe banata kon hai supervisor , theyre fucking good for nothing people. Girls hostel ka staff is so fucking shitty. I think they should fire everyone and appoint some good people.
