I know people talk about Sonic’s iron will and mental endurance so I think some fans and or powerscalers would be best to know even Sonic can’t be hypnotized. Of course you could assume Sonic’s mind was left vulnerable, with him being caught off guard by seeing supposedly a dead man under the mask. Though I still think some people might not accept it as enough for Starline’s hypnosis to work on Sonic. What do you think?

I remember that Fang the Hunter was once a wolf/jerboa hybrid, but it got retconned in Superstars. I would like to know if there are any other confirmed mobian hybrids.

So i've been wondering, if Starline created only Surge and Tenrec to break the cycle he percieved, why didn't he also make copies of Amy and Knuckles or even others? did he just not have enough time to or did he only see Sonic and Tails as "Important" to replace? (i would have loved whoever Starline would have made to be Surge's "Amy" ngl)

We’ve learned in the latest issue that it’s very likely Starline himself has returned. Maybe back from the dead as a type of zombie/cyborg as some concept art depicts him. My going theory is that he’d survived the same way Surge did when she fell down a large pit after fighting Sonic: the stable metal virus. If this is the case, he may be a worse menace for everyone. Especially Eggman, Sonic, and Surge & Kit. With a more unhinged agenda hellbent on “wiping them all off the board”. As they’d all be out for his head. This introduces a certain turning point I feel the duo would have to contend with: mortality and consequences. Starline always made contingencies. Who’s to say there isn’t some that involve an anti-virus, weapon, or cure that makes the duo vulnerable again to death and injuries. (Semi) immortality tends to remove consequences and morals, so such a nerf for Surge and Kit, I feel would be the “turning point” for them, or at least Surge, to turn over a new leaf. As at some point, they’d need to start taking responsibility, as blaming Eggman, Sonic, or Starline would stop becoming an excuse certain characters wouldn’t accept anymore. The two are willing to make the effort, although in the wrong way, but haven’t become genuine and willing to atone, even if they were manipulated, they’d still endangered many, and almost killed some.

Which is when, if willing, Shadow would step in, as he’s the only one that could truly relate to them. Though, considering this is IDW, and not Archie Shadow, it’s hard to say if he’d be inclined to help them. As Shadow is not as forgiving or merciful as Sonic. Though I can see Shadow giving the two some leeway, given the circumstances. Whereas Eggman is a repeat offender.

I was thinking, in the Sonic × DC crossover, Tails's DC counterpart was made to be Cyborg, and what if Tails was pushed to be more and more of not just the Techie in the chair, but more of the battle-suit wielding character with powerful technical weapons he'd use in battle when venturing with Sonic. Nine was a great example of this, even if he came off a little Doc Ock like. Tails already used such gadgets in Sonic Battle, but would it be a good idea to include his character into the vid game alongside Sonic, allowing him to bust out the arm cannon? And to also be more like Cyborg and have mechanical enhancements on him via utility belt.

Now that this arc is finished, or atleast the 1st part of it, it still doesn't give a clear theme or names to any of its shenanigans

It almost been 6 Weeks since Jewel is hiding in Mineral Museum from The Infected Nightmares and The Mutated at Spiral Hill Village. She tried to contact Tangle and Whisper for her help, there was no response, ever since they left trying to save people at Seaside City. She remembers seeing the members of the Sonic Fan Club getting slaughtered by the Infected Nightmares, the day when Dark Gaia was awoken again. One night, a Infected Nightmare has entered in the museum, she hides from them, waiting for them to walk away, she sat there, very silenced, tears starts to come out knowing she's going to die or become one of them. Suddenly, the noises distracted the Infected Nightmare out of the Museum, and then she was rescued by Jet the Hawk, as he saw the S.O.S on the banner outside of her Museum.

A loosely what if scenario based on the volume 14: Overpowered where Dr. Starline is not just Surge's hallucinations, but rather a ghost that made a deal with King Boo for power to enact his revenge in a hypothetical crossover. Hope ypu guys like it
