Is “jousting” really the only way to fight a bear?

It ain’t fun to do and feels like a community answer and not a game one.

But so far me and my friend tried many times and can’t beat em. Better armour? Doesn’t matter. Better weapons? Does not matter. Better food? Takes a little longer for us to die. Try shield? Just lose stamina faster and still take damage.

I do try the joust but it just feels like it does not work on console for us. Especially when you have an entire forest blocking your view and path.

This farm generates about 8000 delicacies per harvest every 10 ish minutes, so roughly 80 ren per minute

To anyone on Olympus that has trouble finding caves or wants to hit the jackpot of all caves... this is it. E 11 in the bottom desert. This will set you up with mats for a long time.

I was playing a bit, and since I'm new, I use the pick axe, is there a better way to get the bones?

I'm getting horrible FPS now at my base. I think I have reached the limit for what the server can handle at the base. unless anyone knows of a good optimization method i can use? I currently have a dedicated server PC running the game server. And I just wanted to know if there were any easy optimization options I can try before I have to start deleting stuff.

Depois de mais de 200 horas no jogo fazendo cruzamentos entre raptors eu consegui por acaso. A princípio minha intenção era aprimorar um dune fenótipo 5, aí veio dois alfas fenótipo 7 com 57 de atributos. Cruzei com outros alfas sem fenótipo aí veio o tão sonhado raptor fenótipo 7 das dunas.

Finally, after a days of prep, i decided that i wanted to find my first exotics deposit from F5 to J14 on Olympus, got my first exotics deposit, beought some building mats and my trusty Moa (Ranguini) and we set our journey, but i have two questions, do i need to defend it? How many can i place there on the deposit at once?

Switched to my farmer character, spawned in the air directly above where my dropship is parked, landed on top of it and died.

How come the right tile is unstable but not the left? Both sides are build the same.

The Icarus food chart has been updated to have more condensed information and it also now has an armor stats section where you can compare armor buffs to combine with your food buffs.

Update #3 for my base build in G14 on Olympus. Added balcony overlooking the lake on the main structure. Did the framing for the greenhouse and completely built a storage warehouse. Whole structure is powered by 2 water wheels and a battery rack and is provided water with an electric water pump. Next project is the stable for my mounts!

I know that for most people out there, The Swamps are a dangerous and tabu place. A place where the weather is always harsch, where the acid rains and fog is giving you the chills. A place where needlers, komodos and other creatures are lurking at each corner. A place where you only come, passing by. But for me, for me it was the first touch of Icarus. The first place I never wanted to be and the last place I managed to live in. It was like a strange love at first sight. I cant remember how many times i wanted to leave this place. At the beginning, it was really hard. Being lonely and so small in such a big, greeny place. There were so many good places to go and live in. Maybe the mountains, maybe the forest...but I decided to stay. Because Home is where your heart (and your dog) is. Because no matter how many green rains, how many deep fog shadows and how many needlers and lurkers are creeping near my home, this is where I will forever stay. Because whenever I come back, i feel safe. I feel warm. I feel Home!

So the past 3 times I have started the mission to find the abandoned base, it has spawned directly behind my main base and into my greenhouse (considering its been hard difficulty each time so it should send me a bit away) and gives instant mission fail when I get near it 😅 thankfully it doesn't damage the greenhouse or things inside, just annoying. The chest inside though had a spare recurve bow, crossbow, platinum hanmer/pickaxe, so that's a win ahaha.
