After reading how much of a treat the unstable quarrite was, i did make:

kinectic rifle + 860 High explosive ammo + 300 drill arrows + obsidian armor fully modded + 500 12 gauge high explosive shells + 2 shotguns (in case one breaks), brought a second set of armor (not obsidian) just in case I got beat too much

20 health elixirs

Just to use 1 elixir, 100 ammo (not even that) and 30 arrows. Dodged most attacks, got pinned against wall, slammed, survived and used one elixir to be back at full hp

Unstable Quarrite seems not that much of a threat on normal. Should have tried on hard mode, which I'll try on styx campaign
