What exactly is it they do to make these abominations taste so off putting? I'm genuinely curious.

The Stanley cup trend feels over the top to me

I might be alone on this, but I don’t get why the Stanley cup is treated like some must have item. It’s a cup that holds water and yes it keeps it cold but so do a lot of other bottles that don’t take up half your bag. This thing has become almost a must have for my students.

I’ve seen people go out of their way to collect different colors and even trade them, which feels a bit excessive. At that point it stops being about hydration and starts feeling like showing off. I’ve even read product breakdowns and manufacturing chatter where similar materials and designs come up, so I’m not convinced it’s doing anything revolutionary.

I’m not saying it’s bad, just that the level of attention it’s getting doesn’t match what it does. Maybe I’m missing something here. If you’re really into them, what makes it worth it for you beyond just having a nice-looking cup?

Overkill?

Just bought a 3 bed 2 Bath home in Oklahoma. We have notoriously hard water so I understand the need for a softener/filtration. Previous owner installed this monstrosity.

Mainly looking for recommendations.

Is the holding tank overkill?

Are there sanitation issues with standing water in that tank?

Anything helps.

The best water bottle

Hey guys, I've been lurking here for a while. I drink a lot of water and if I had to put it on a ranking system I would rank it S+ tier. I'm on a quest to find a water bottle that suits my water intake which is about 1.5-2L per day. Also I'm not sure if this is too much or too less, but i guess there are many factors in play.

Anyways, I'm looking for a really solid water bottle that will last me a long time.

Thanks for your advice!

Homies, what bottles are you using?

I’ve got my trusty Hydro Flask and I’m curious what everyone else is using out there.
I’m wondering what bottles the rest of the homies are rocking. Hydro Flask, Stanley, Nalgene, something else entirely?

Also curious, have you stuck with the same bottle for a long time or switched over the years?

Hot take: Infused water is objectively better than plain water

I used to struggle to drink 2L a day. Now I'm clearing 3L without thinking about it. Something about the subtle taste of the fruit in the water just makes me want to keep drinking and refilling.

My plain water days are dead and buried homies.
