How Big is your garden ?
I feel as if I’m behind and my plants are barely producing. Some veggies here and there but nothing like last year 🥲, maybe because it hasn’t been as warm this year? Help

Is so satisfying. Beats working out at the gym and I like the membership fees.
Said goodbye to the all the cool weather vegetables today. No more broccoli, kale, collards or Brussels sprouts. The aphids were getting to enjoy them more than we did. In a week or two, I’ll plant peanuts and creamer peas in these now open areas. By then I expect there will be little sign remaining of the winter garden.
As a bonus, I dug up the rest of the potatoes today.
I recently moved into this house with a raised bed and have been starting to build my own garden! I know I still have a lot to learn, but wanted to share my progress!
I have a young Cara Cara orange who is a bit top heavy. I think with the recent rains, it drank a little too much and now it's leaning pretty heavily.
I've been trying to keep it from being dependent on support from a bamboo stake, to give it the ability to grow a strong trunk by moving in the wind. I think I may have given it independence a little too soon. Should I throw a stake in the bag and tie it up for a little longer to give it some more time to develop, or will it stand up on its own in the future, and just let it ride?
I planted this hot Jalapeño plant on 2/27 (Zone 9B). I have several peppers that are 2.5”-3.5” right now and am wondering when the best time to harvest is. I’m a newbie to growing peppers. Any tips appreciated.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a local seller, even if it’s just a person growing plants in their backyard. I’m trying to not buy natives online, and would greatly appreciate a source for unique natives.
Edit: Thank you for all the comments. Bought one at Enchanted Gardens, but I didn’t realize there were so many different Dutchman’s Pipe Vines…and I don’t even know which species I got. Today I learned to always go by scientific name :(
I have planted Lemon, Lime and Moro orange this year in ground. Just need good tips!
Has anyone tried to plant one of these in Houston? I worry with the freezes lately it wouldn’t be worth it
I'd love to have my apt look pretty. what are some flowers that bloom all year, ok with just being in a pot/mixed with other perennials in a plant box, easy to take care of. I don't have a green thumb but would like to try again lol. I am on a second floor and i worry about making a mess if it sheds at my downstairs neighbor's patio since my apt patio is planks with gaps in between.
I have looked into lantana urticoides. How do i know if i'm getting the right one not the invasive camara if i buy from stores like heb or lowes?
edit: mb yall perennials apparently only blooms at times. the annuals are what im looking for lol
Have no clue what these are but they look menacing. They’re the only insect I’ve found in my native flower bed.
My nasturtiums during a pause in the rain. Happy plants!
I found these egg like things on the bottom on my eggplants. What is it? Captain Jack’s dead bug doesn’t seem to make a difference here.
