I've already played Valheim, Enshrouded, 7 days to die, all the Assassin's Creed, Skyrim and more. But I am looking for a new game in this vein.

I recently played Project Gorgon some as well which sort of gave me that open ended exploration kind of feeling but the combat is really boring.

Any suggestions? I'd really like to come home from work and just go on an adventure.

It's a fighting game like street fighter but the characters are all made of obveous triangles. Spears fall from the sky that you can pickup and throw at the other combatant. The area you fought on was a rectangle with no walls and the black void all around and yes you can fall off into the void and lose the fight. Any thoughts would be helpful. Idk anything about this game. I likely will create a drawing of what I remember and post it. Let me know if anyone members this ancient game haha thanks

Looking for single-player game recommendations.

I’m trying to find a game where I can recruit/build an army, squad, monsters, soldiers, mercenaries, or companions and gradually make them stronger over time. I really enjoy progression systems where you level characters, get better gear/items, unlock abilities, take on harder missions/bosses, and feel your army/team evolving.

I like base/city/building mechanics too, but I don’t want that to be the main focus. The progression, combat, recruiting, customization, and growing stronger are the important parts for me.

Graphics honestly don’t matter much, I care way more about mechanics, depth, replayability, and good progression/story.

Some things I enjoy:

• Recruiting units/companions/monsters
• Training and gearing them up
• Sending them on missions or fighting alongside them
• Hard bosses/endgame content
• Loot, XP, skill progression
• Building something from nothing
• Single-player only

Any recommendations?

It may have been official DnD but not sure, similar races/archetypes. Multiplayer was the focus with up to 3 other players. I believe there was a portal at the end of each level.

It was an early to middle PS4 era release. might have been a sequel in a franchise but not sure. Camera was behind and slightly above the player usually.

I only remember that there was a part where we were stuck in a kind of tower, it looked like a castle, it was a large tower. We had weapons and it was in third person. It had very good and realistic graphics.

I just did a scroll of this sub filtered by best and every single post is about people asking for help finding a game they once played or saw but cant recall the name of.

The stubbornness of this community and the moderation on this is going to kill the sub. We can't be surprised or irritated when someone comes in asking for help finding a game when the sub is literally called "helpmefindagame".

Another comment by u/ZenLionheart24 on another post made an excellent point. "Recommendmeagame" or something along those lines would have been perfect. I'm not sure if sub names can be changed, but if they can't I sincerely suggest the community lean into helping people find forgotten names, as well as recommending games for people to buy.

If everyone keeps tripping on the same step despite a sign saying "watch for the step" then at some point people need to admit that just slapping up a sign doesn't make up for a poorly designed step

I remember playing a game with my brother where the like a electronic man that could ride wires and there were areas with enemys and there were like box with wires. I been looking for this game i even asked my brother and he's doesn't remember maybe this game doesn't exist but idk. If you somehow find it.

I am looking to find an old PC game that i played on Windows 2000 or Windows XP. I am pretty sure it was an early 2000 dungeon crawler game. Very simple, very static, not much animations, rogue like but with better graphics. It was based on exploring the Moria from Lord of the rings. I am also certain there was the name Moria in the title. It has many levels of exploration. The map was on the left of the game screen, it was kinda yellow or golden. You could play a single adventurer, no choices of classes or the like.

I’m trying to find an old PC/laptop game I played around 2016-2018, though the game itself may be older.

What I remember:

Third-person controllable male character

Graphics were 3D but not super realistic

Character had long hair and fancy old-style clothes with gold details

Fixed cinematic camera angles that changed between areas

Dark rainy nighttime atmosphere with noticeable rain sounds

Environment felt like a prison/castle/ship mix

Mostly puzzle solving and exploration, no combat that I remember

White glowing/sparkling interactable objects

One puzzle involved getting a bone and making/using a long stick to grab a key

Another section involved blowing up a hole in a structure and connecting a ramp outside

Old-style doors that shut vertically/from above

The game felt lonely and atmospheric

The vibe was somewhat similar to Black Sails: The Ghost Ship, but with a fully movable third-person character.

I used to play a game on ios about 10 years ago when i was a kid it was about a little astronaut running for his life. The theme was a burning city during an apocalypse, rocks falling from space burning city. It was a 2D pixel endless running game with the same pov as jetpack joyride and sort of the same goal, endless running. You were able to pick up certain weapons on the way and there were opsticles coming your way and you could shoot some of them. I remember a shotgun and a flame thrower. There were also little c4 charges falling from the sky with a parachute mounted on them so they were slowly falling. If i am remembering correctly the logo of the app was the little astronauts face and i also remember rocketships leaving earth in the background so i think that he was running to a rocketship but that never happend since it is an endless running game could you help me find the name?

This was a game my brother and his friend would play in Primary School. It was not educational and seemed to be a platformer where you would progress through a single screen level. He thinks you played as a female character, although he could be wrong, climbing to the top of the screen, in a similar way to the original Donkey Kong. The goal was to save your brother who was trapped in a cage. The cage was hanging over a vat of liquid. There was a bird villain pecking the rope which would lead to the brother falling into the vat if you did not succeed. There was an egg timer keeping track of time.

In this game you first opened the screen and you got to select a character it was like a vampire family, they had a boy,a girl,a old man, and a baby you could choose from in the game you had to solve puzzles like finding out codes or any other kind of puzzle I wanna say it was maybe a one side perspective game? this all about I remember and ik they had different stages I believe please help me find it!!

There was this game I used to play on my aunt’s computer where you built structures with basic shapes and had a ball roll through
it was in 3D, it looked very very rustic and it was downloaded in the computer, not online… it was mostly gray and blue if i’m not mistaken

I barely have any memories of it but i really want to find it. All i remember is that was may or not have been island themes? I just remembee them having hay roofs and a specific building where they could rest and relax and have drinks, and the ppl had head proportional to their bodies, and they could farm, there was male and female and the hair of men was lolw black hair bob. And the style of the game was 3d i think

Hi I'm looking for this really obscure hidden object game where you have to enter a girl's dream to save her

I remember in the intro sequence of the game,she was dancing ballet or something but suddenly she falls asleep .In the tutorial section ,a doctor sends you into her dream via a headset type of thing

You then go through various dreams and or memories of her life .Like an amusement park,a frozen lake,a church and her house when it was flooded . throughout these dreams you gather pieces of a dream catcher to wake her up

The girl ,herself,was a redhead,I think,and you play as her best friend,a guy,who tries to wake her up.

The shortcut icon to the game was a dream catcher
