I take pride in clearing maps. 1,112 hrs later and I enjoy a full clearing because doing so has allowed me to enjoy the full gaming experience without having to set aside time to farming. I have 6810 SC currently from 4200 after the Exo Experts Warbond released. I have everything in the Superstore and every Warbond; have been playing since August launch on Xbox. Any D10 missions can be won within the first 20 minutes and the rest of the mission is fun time.

While joining randoms and even hosting randoms, players do not want to clear maps. Even to the point of skipping bunkers(double doors) so when I hear people talking about a paywall and I'm not gonna farm because D1s and D2s is boring, WTF is going on because I'm confused. Im convinced that after finding the LIDAIR station and people literally run pass POIs ppl just wanna have something to complain about. They literally just have to go to the place on the map and won't go.

I’m starting to get down to the lower/uncommonly used tier weapons that I haven’t fully upgraded but want to keep trying new weapons so please feel free to look at the the weapons I have left to complete and drop your rec! Also please note what faction they’re good against.

The do it all primary, the crossbow.

I want to ask a simple but seemingly dangerous question.

How would you nerf it?

Its current weakmesses is you can't use it in close range due to it exploding and its sort of limited ammo with its capacity of 5 and 8 spare mags giving a total of 45 total bolts.

My suggestion would be to reduce the damage the arrow does from 270 damage to maybe like 100. And make the arrow itself have light pen. Keeping the explosive the same. Which is a 350 damage with medium pen.

But how would you nerf it?

Edit: People keep missing my point so I will state it clearer. Im not saying Nerf the crossbow. Im saying, as a thoughtexperiment and as a pretend Game Dev, how would you change it? I kinda think it would be good for the community to try and just calm down about nerfs. I know, telling people to "calm down" just lights another fire under them but try as reasonable people look at your loadout abd see if there is something you think you could nerf? Just as a thought experiment.

Maybe RR altered ammo only takes effect next reload?
Quaser can be reloaded to skip the cooldown?
AMR gets a third person retical?
Cremator backpack can be hit, making it explode after 2 seconds meaning you need to drop it and book it?

I am not saying AH should impliment ANY of this. But excericse your brain and see what you can come up with.

And I am aware HD2 have other severe painpoints.

This was around the 2.5 hour mark of my Helldivers 2 cardio stream challenge.

No meme, no exaggeration. I was actually smoked here. Heart rate around 160 BPM while still trying to clear objectives and stay focused. Figured some of you might appreciate the absurdity of turning Helldivers into a cardio workout.
