I feel their pain
As a Hellaverse fan, i know how it is to have their show being dunked on for the stupidest reasons.

Lucifer rescuing Charlie's ice cream is so fucking cute
Was looking at the new Pride merch art, and it's so fucking sweet. Angel and Cherri's cute food influencer photoshoot is adorable, and Vaggi sharing her ice cream with Charlie while Lucifer quietly makes sure she doesn't lose her own while distracted is so sweet it's ruining my day.
Which character would fans treat differently if they were the opposite sex?
Velvette would be just as egotistical & unhinged as Vox or Valentino if given the chance.
The consensus among most fans is that Velvette is the most level-headed of the Vees and the "babysitter" when Vox or Valentino throw their tantrums.
However, we forget that the Vees are a unit, and rely on each other to succeed. This also means keeping each other in check, making sure that one doesn't do anything stupid that could rock their boat. We see this with Vel and Val stopping Vox in the S2 finale, but we also see it with Vox trying to apologize for Velvette to Carmilla, and him making sure Valentino behaves in S1.
While we have definitely seen Vox at his worst, Velvette is far from without her own flaws: She's quick to pick fights and hurl insults without a second thought or unchecked ego(*Respectless*), and she can get easily upset over something like her hair getting ruined by Husker.
The point I'm getting at is that while some fans like to think Velvette is the "backbone" of the Vees, she has many similar flaws that caused Vox's defeat, and if unchecked, could cause her *own* downfall.
i will always defend charlie and lucifer's writing in season 2
Charlie was just going through it this season. She was acting out of character, not in the sense that her writing was bad, but in the same way people in real life will sometimes act out of character during periods of high stress and pressure.
The argument that Lucifer was "dumbed down" never made sense to me because he was never established to be particularly intelligent in the first place. In fact, you could even argue he acted quite dumb back in season 1. During S1E8, when he saves Charlie, instead of putting an immediate stop to the battle, he proceeded to taunt Adam for a solid minute, putting himself and everybody around him in a dangerous position. This even lead to the hotel being destroyed and Charlie having what could've been a very nasty fall. Lucifer has always been impulsive and cocky, at the expense of both himself and those around him.
(Sorry for the repost. I briefly posted this yesterday, but deleted it. The image broke because of Reddit shitting itself.)
What was your reaction to this scene?
I was in disbelief at this scene. I was thinking “Angel
You idiot what are you doing!? We’re so close to getting you redeemed! Don’t stop now!”
Why didn’t Lucifer just destroy V Tower?
So he couldn’t hurt Vox but he could have destroyed the Tower. That would have hurt the Vees a lot.
