Hey everyone, I'm in a really desperate situation right now and hoping someone here has faced something similar and can guide me.

---

**What happened:**

I booked a round-trip flight from Kochi (COK) ↔ Manchester (MAN) via MakeMyTrip operated by Gulf Air, for ₹69,834.

I successfully completed my outbound journey (COK → MAN) in February 2026. Now my return flights have been **cancelled by Gulf Air** with absolutely zero notice or communication:

- ❌ GF 4 — Manchester → Bahrain | 9 May 2026, 09:55

- ❌ GF 270 — Bahrain → Kochi | 9 May 2026, 21:05

The cancellation is even visible on MakeMyTrip's own platform — it clearly says **"Flight Cancelled at Airline"** for both legs.

---

**The problem:**

- Gulf Air offered NO rebooking and NO alternative

- MakeMyTrip's customer care **is not picking up calls at all**

- Their helpline just doesn't connect — I've tried multiple times

- I am currently **stranded in Manchester** with no return journey home

- No email support either (their support page says they don't do email!)

I paid ₹69,834 for a round trip. I've done my part — travelled outbound, caused no issues. And now I'm left completely on my own in a foreign country.

---

**What I've done so far:**

- Emailed Gulf Air at customer.care@gulfair.com

- Tried emailing MakeMyTrip at contactus@makemytrip.com

- Tweeted at @MakeMyTrip, @MakeMyTripCare, @GulfAir

- Called MakeMyTrip helpline multiple times — no answer

---

**Has anyone faced this before? What worked for you?**

Also — does anyone know:

  1. Can I claim compensation under UK261 passenger rights since the flight was cancelled from Manchester?

  2. Is there any other escalation channel for MakeMyTrip that actually works?

  3. Should I approach Gulf Air's Manchester Airport counter directly?

Any help is deeply appreciated. I just want to get home. 🙏
