My Situation:
I booked a round-trip Kochi (COK) ↔ Manchester (MAN) flight through MakeMyTrip operated by Gulf Air for ₹69,834
I also purchased Zero Cancellation Cover which entitles me to a refund on cancellation.
My return flights were cancelled by Gulf Air (GF 4 & GF 270 on 9 May 2026) — not by me. This means I am entitled to a full refund, not just 80%.

**Here's where it gets worse:**
🔴 Gulf Air has CONFIRMED that the refund has already been processed and sent to MakeMyTrip (the agent).
🔴 MakeMyTrip has NOT passed this refund to me.
🔴 I have been waiting with no update, no timeline, no communication.

**What MakeMyTrip has done (or rather NOT done):**
📵 **Calls not answered** — I have called their helpline multiple times. Not once has anyone picked up. No callback either.
📧 **Emails ignored** — I emailed contactus@makemytrip.com. Zero response. Not even an auto-acknowledgment.
💬 **No proactive follow-up** — Despite the airline cancelling the flight (visible on their OWN platform as "Flight Cancelled at Airline"), MakeMyTrip has made zero effort to contact me or process my refund.

- ✅ Feb 12, 2026 — Travelled Kochi → Manchester (outbound completed)
- ❌ May 9, 2026 — GF 4 & GF 270 cancelled by Gulf Air
- 📞 Multiple calls to MakeMyTrip — No answer
- 📧 Email sent to MakeMyTrip — No response
- ✅ Gulf Air confirmed refund issued to MakeMyTrip
- ❌ MakeMyTrip has NOT passed refund to me

**My Questions for the Community:**
Has anyone successfully recovered a refund from MakeMyTrip after the airline has already processed it?
Can I file a complaint with the **National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000)** against MakeMyTrip for withholding my refund?
Can I raise a **chargeback request** with my credit card bank since MakeMyTrip is holding money that Gulf Air has already refunded?
Is there any **senior escalation email or executive contact** at MakeMyTrip that actually works?
Should I approach the **Consumer Court** directly?

MakeMyTrip is essentially **holding my money hostage** after the airline has already refunded them. This is unacceptable and potentially illegal under Indian consumer protection laws.
I also purchased **Zero Cancellation** cover from them — so there is absolutely NO excuse for withholding this refund.
If anyone from **@MakeMyTrip** is reading this . I want my money back.
