An incredible night of music. Anyone on the fence about seeing Gillian and Dave in person needs to go. It is truly astounding the full band sound two guitars and a bass can generate when they are in the right hands. My hope is that they will make a live album out of these shows because some of these dead covers are so excellent they need to be preserved.

Dave was on fire the entire night. Bertha, Deep Elem Blues, and Uncle Johns band were all standouts and every track was excellent. Gillian was a machine on rhythm guitar (and drums at the same time) and Paul was incredible on bass as always.

The person that introduced me to their music said "be thankful to exist as the same time as these two, they are among the best musicians i have ever heard"

and goddamn was he right.

The Lost Songs LP

I know it's been said before, but the sound quality on these pressings is something else. The space between the instruments and vocals really is impressive. It benefits from being played pretty loud, everything just pops (no, not like an old record! 😅)This release isn't cheap, it is however worth every penny imho.
