Upcoming Genesis GV90 exterior has been somewhat leaked

Was spotted by someone on instagram, it seems that these are cars that have been already crash-tested by the NHTSA.

My new 2026 3.3T Prestige Graphite AWD.

I'm in love with this car. Just picked it up this morning from getting ceramic coated.

Not a luxury experience

I purchased a 2025 Genesis GV80 expecting a luxury ownership experience. Instead, within just 1.4 years, I experienced two battery-related failures, repeated inconvenience, and a complete loss of trust in the Genesis brand.

During the first incident, the dealership replaced the battery entirely, confirming there was a legitimate issue. Despite that, the vehicle experienced another battery failure afterward, leaving me stranded again.

Genesis and the dealership kept my vehicle for nearly three weeks combined attempting to diagnose the issue. During that time, I was repeatedly reassured that rental costs up to $85/day would be covered due to the extended repair process. After spending over $1,500 on rentals, Genesis later refused to fully reimburse the costs.

What is most concerning is that after replacing the battery and holding the vehicle for weeks, the final response was essentially that the vehicle is “operating normally” because the issue could not be duplicated again.

I also requested a detailed daily explanation of what work was performed on my vehicle during those weeks. Genesis told me to contact the retailer, and when I did, the retailer could not provide clear daily records explaining what was actually done.

To make matters worse, Genesis ultimately suggested mediation services if I was unhappy with their resolution — despite the “resolution” effectively being that nothing was wrong.

Luxury is not just design and marketing. Luxury is trust, transparency, and standing behind your customer when problems happen. Unfortunately, after this experience, I no longer trust either the vehicle or the Genesis support process.

Auto door lock

Does anyone else find the lack of an auto door lock when you leave the car extremely annoying? It seems like such a basic car feature in this day and age. I’m baffled that this hasn’t been integrated into the platform.

Has anyone found any workarounds other than using the app to remotely lock the car?

Just purchased G90

I’m still in my small little dealer warranty window, but also, it was Carvana so I can do a total car replacement. Quick overview I love my new car, the way it drives everything m. But first day I drove I’m getting these warnings. Please tell me there is a common fix, and would yall swap it or go the warranty fix route?

Any Owners Have Problems With Their 2026 Genesis GV80?

Hello,

I'm thinking of purchasing a 2026 Genesis GV80 soon when the prices come down more, but I was just wondering, do any of you have any issues with your 2026 Genesis GV80? I know that it had a prior recall for some cars for faulty infotainment and gauge cluster screens, the recent recall for loose fuel pipe connections, and battery draining issues, but does any ody else have any problems?

Other than these, I didn't quite find any other issues for the 2026 Genesis GV80 online and most issues I saw were for prior year model so hopefully Genesis has fixed most of the prior problems.

Any thoughts shared is appreciated.

Just upgraded from a 2015 Hyundai Genesis to a 2023 Genesis G80 Electrified. I completely love it!

Pros: it's a freaking BEAST in a straight line, it's loaded with every single option you could want, and it looks amazing.

Cons: no panoramic sunroof, the sound system is not as good as the non-electrics.

Overall now that I've had it for a week I am 100% glad I spent the money. I will eventually sell the 2015. Original price was $82,500 on a lease. I picked it up for $33k as a lease return with 27k miles on it. Still has the new car smell.

I'm in love all over again.

What do you use most in Connected Services?

Recently purchased a ‘23 G80 Electrified and am considering upgrading the basic complimentary connected service to the advanced ($12.99/mo) option that has climate, digital key 2, remote lock/unlock, etc. or the Map OTA ($25/yr) option that has multimedia and map updates.

What do you use most, and are either of these worth it?

Please be kind. I don't need any lectures about Carvana. I have to return this car (2025 GV70 Sport Prestige) Friday to Carvana due to undisclosed front end damage (broken radar sensor hidden under the bumper). I'm so bummed. It took me over a year to decide on a car and finally buy one and it has been a nightmare since 3 hours after I drove it off the lot. However, I LOVE this car. Every time I drive it, it feels amazing. I'm so sad. And now I'm moving states and, although I now know I want a GV70, I've been kind of traumatized by the whole experience and feel reticent to car shop anywhere again. (Shopping at dealerships prior to buying this "great deal" were an awful experience too.) I can't be in a rental for forever though... Just wanted to share, hoping for some camaraderie. Thanks.

Is the G70 or the G80 a better first car

I’m getting my very first car here soon and I wanted to know what people think about these two cars because I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to just these two but would like to know from current or previous owners. It would be my daily

My local US dealer mentioned that they've just received the news a week ago that g90 wingback isn't coming to states. Is it a sales trick?

A brand ambassador from the local dealership reached out and asked about my potential upgrade considerations for my 4.5 yo gv70.

I mentioned that I really liked the idea of g90 wingback, and he was very enthusiastic saying they might be coming by the end of the year.

Then he had a chat with his sales manager "who just returned from a trip in Croatia where they were told it's not coming to the US", and suggested we look at a few alternatives instead, like the 3.5t gv70 sport prestige which I was curious about in the past.

Could it be a sales trick or is it a sad reality? Has anyone else heard news from their dealer about this?
