I found it sad when I'm able to take 2 ... 3 even had 4 hits sometimes when I parry the same attack.
Sometimes I'm able to take down 1/3 HP of the boss down in only ONE attack.
And the fight became a spamfest of parry instead of just pressing it once at the very right timing :(
Otherwise I really love the game and I'm having a blast!!
You developpers ROCK, love you <3
I didn't need as much time as I expected, but for that duo of bosses, what kind of mold (correction) would work? They are flying and shit...
Just saying, molds (again) are kind of a third of your set, and if they are mostly worthless... meh. Wanted to know I'm not alone here. They are really cool to fight, though, although a bit annoying at first.
In grime 2 he gives you his former head, the one he has in grime 1 and even calls you "endgiver" despite aklan technically not even being born yet. Does this mean the coda are aware of the rippler and the fact that it births spiral hearts?
Hey all, just finished up my Level 0 playthrough of Grime 2. It was my second playthrough and was such a blast! (Minus Last Sculptor, at low damage he suuuucks lol!) After 52 attempts (5 of which died to a pretty annoying invisible laser bug) here's a video of my kill of the final boss! Hope you enjoy. :)
I've seen steam got quite a few balance patches but ps5 still nothing
As a player who allways tryes to max my build, Im allways looking for best combinations.
So far I have done 4 builds and with each of them I got to final game area. I consider dashing inferior to parry, so DIV is my dump stat, maybe Im wrong. I know that some of you guys are much better player then me and you are able to play with 0 in health, but Im not, so all my builds have 20 points in health
1. STR/PLI build/Jaw axe 20HEA/15 PLI/STR all other points
- my first build, I was using boulder set for 25%dmg negation, but I didnt find it necessary after I learned movesets, so Im going to swith it. Here are options that I consider.
Reef bloom set - this looks like the best armor set in the game for parry play style and I allready use it on DEX/PLI and PLI builds. Good set bonus and no wasted stats
Lahavist Nomad Set - bigger window to parry does not seem neccesary and armor has wasted stat points in DEX or STR depending on build. It seems to be outclassed by the set above. The saving grace could be taking the trait that reduces parry window and adds dmg, but I havent tested it.
Pitcher guard set - seems like interesting option, again it has wasted points in DEX and seem like its more suited for quality build.
Any other armor sets to consider?
Overall this build seems inferior to DEX/PLI build and Im saying this as a primary Unga bunga player from all Soulsgames. CONs - charging time on all str weapon special is much longer then on DEX weapons and there is no ranged weapon that scales with STR, so you dont have a strong backup weapon like on dex builds.
2. PLI build/Barbed sword, Reef bloom set 20HEA/15 DIV/PLI all other points - very strong overal, but weapon has a bad special and weapon dmg output is low and you will feel it on bosses which dont give you too many parry oportunities. It seems worse then my number 3. build. Im considering removing my point from DIV and putting them all to PLI, bcs weapon dmg is low anyway. Lahavist armor could also be interesting, for the same reasons stated above.
3. DEX/PLI build/Knife hand / Reef bloom set. 20HEA/15 PLI/DEX all other points. This seems to be best overall, so far - fast charging special, strong parry, good dmg output, good DEX scaling ranged options for backup.
4. Combustion build/ Bladeroot great sword/ Penpiercer set- 20HEA/10 PLI/all other points to STR or DEX which ever gives more dmg. Suprisingly strong after getting the armor set. Problem is that combustion stacks decay is too fast and Im not able to apply it on certain bosses. Now its inferior to builds 2. and 3. and the decay should be slower to compete with those.
Whats the strongest build you found so far?
When he asks if we hunger for more, I said I'm satiated as in trying to counter his former speech about needing to eat, thinking there might be two routes, one where you challenge him. I just >!finished Marah!< and feel bad, but it seems there's only right choice, since after four tries, I ended up saying I'm hungry just to play.
Question is, why are we given the idea that we have a choice? Even the dialogue changes as in leaving it open for another route, but it's seemingly linear... I am bummed.
Game is awesome, though.
Trying to get one of the thirds of flesh and I can't seem to get up here with the super jump. Fucking christ don't tell me I have to do the entire fucking parkour with no heals between just to get the next parkour session.
So i've been doing interactive maps for the Grime 2 wiki. Every zone has been mapped to my 100% collection run. EXCEPT Kankan. I've spend ours looking and retracing steps... but there is one item that simply eludes me.

If anyone wants to havea look at the save file i'm using please let me know if you find it and I can finish the Kankan wiki map off.
We solved it. Turns out you can eat Qissa and get a Fragments item which counts for the 100%. Or you can let him continue to exist for his stories.
I am you, you are me- we are ONE!
I will feast on food, on quarry, on prey……on WORLDS!!!!!!!!!
That’s it guys. I have finished it.
It’s over and I’m very sad.
What a remarkable addition to the Metroidvania realm. It’s not without its flaws, but it definitely stands out as a gem.
Thanks to the devs for a masterpiece.
Let’s get going on number 3.
😆
Does anybody have a viable strategy for dealing with them? I’m ripping my hair out, especially when they flip over and wave their legs around/laser beam you.
So I think I've been everywhere on the map, have all abilities, and I believe I have checked off everything here on this map: https://www.gamerguides.com/grime-2/maps/world-map
What am I missing for map completion percentage on temple of hands? Any advice?
Working my way through the first NG+ cycle now, and I'm wondering if there's a consensus on whether Sanguines give more value by overcapping key traits, or being given to Owl for more basic Hunt Points to go wider on traits.
I’ve found his location but the run there is crazy far there’s a spot just below his room that’s blocked otherwise I don’t see a save near me, anyone else got any ideas of how I can access him quicker
