Manchuria Fried Rice at Alings Chinese Bistro
This was my Monday’s dinner at Alings Chinese Bistro, a popular Indo-Chinese (Hakka) fusion restaurant. It was very flavorful and with a kick of spiciness. The savory ingredients were ginger, garlic, onion, cilantro and soy sauce.
What’s your favourite trick when making fried rice?
I feel like everyone’s got that one secret here that takes fried rice from basic to unreal. Mine is adding bacon or spam and letting it render out slowly.
Curious though, any secret ingredients I should be trying?

From chat to first date – my story
I found a profile that looked very simple and normal. But when we started chatting, I realized this person is very smart, kind, and funny. The conversation was deep and interesting, and I didn’t expect that from a simple profile. Sometimes appearances online can be misleading, and you can find someone amazing in unexpected places.
