58$ for 500 and 68$ for 940. I'm glad I locked in 44$ for 400 a long while back, but C'mon. It's like Fizz isn't even trying anymore. I'm *this* close to jumping to e-box just for the better upload speed and latency (I don't play games, so this would be mainly to make work easier).
Hello,
I am on Fizz, and I work in the industrial area near the Cyrville O-Train station, and speeds are ABYSMAL (Just recorder 0.37 Mbps with 2000+ ping on Speedtest when connecting to Hiboo Networks, in Ottawa).
There is the 5G Plan for 80 GB (idk why it says 100 GB on the screenshot) 5G for 5$/month extra. I am not super familiar with 5G, would my speed issues remain if I swap to 5G? How could I check that? It would be 100% worth to me to upgrade the plan if it means my cellular data at work is useable, unlike this where I feel like my data connection is from 15 years ago, trying to load modern levels of data.
If someone outside of Fizz support (which have not been helpful to explain this) can educate me, or point towards where I should look, this would be greatly appreciated.
Having just turned the last of the previous 10*10GB paid (from BF and Christmas?), today they announce another set.
I'm only seeing 2*10GB in my account now, with 89 days to redeem, but I'm sure the others are coming. :)
When I signed up in January. And up until a few weeks ago, I was in the medium green (lte) area (I live in Leamington). Now I’m in the partner zone. I hope I don’t have to switch carriers.
Would you wait to get a phone?
Hello, I recently switched to fizz from koodo about 2 months ago. I regularly take long road trips and I've noticed as I travel between Ottawa and Toronto is maybe 2-3 times a trip at random length and intervals my android auto will fully disconnect and then come back up eventually. I've read online that this could be from the data mobile provider switching from 5G to LTE. What do I do about this? A new phone? Change from e-sim to physical? Factory reset?
I have a plan currently with my 17promax with another carrier with 60gb of data which turns out isn’t enough. I see fizz offers just straight data plans no text or calling. I was wondering if I could just order a 100gb eSIM and use it? Would my original plan and number be inactive while using the fizz eSIM? Sorry I’m not super knowledgeable on phone plans.
I first lost my number because i Didnt make the payment since i forgot to check my email and i was in a different country, then i tried to reactivate and fizz told me i cant get my number back because its an ontario number and i moved to manitoba? And after that i tried to get a new number and realized my discount to my plan was removed when i am still eligible for it since i bought a phone from fizz, and their reason was its because it Wasn’t the same
Plan/ Number
Hello I switched from Telus and can't get RCS to work anymore on Google messages. On my Nothing 4a Pro it was working with Telus. Now is says my device is not secure and won't connect.
Any way to fix this?
I just found out that their cheapest base plan is no longer available. Any suggestions with other carriers?
I honestly don't want to pay for data anymore...I don't use it as much as they charge for it....
What friendly budget promo is coming now that BFriday's one is gone???
Remember to use it before it expires
What's the consensus here, are the lower-data plans at rates of ~$20/mo gone for good now?
I've got a plan with full text/talk/voicemail, US+Can coverage, 1GB Data for $20/mo, and another without data (but still have 750MB month of upgrades) for $18/mo. To do the same now with 0GB is $24/mo, or 2GB for $26/mo, or for only $27/mo can get a whooping 25GB(!).
What do we think, are those 0/1/2GB plans ever going back down? And yes I do realize I'm a complete cheapskate over an extra $4-5/mo.
Mon modem n'arrive plus à se connecter depuis une heure. J'ai fait toutes les vérifications d'usage, le soutien technique me dit qu'il y a une panne dans mon secteur.
I’m seriously reaching my breaking point with Fizz. I switched to iPhone recently to simplify things since my whole family is on iOS, but trying to communicate with anyone else like friends or colleagues on Android is a total nightmare because Fizz still hasn't enabled RCS.
It makes zero sense. Every other provider in Canada has updated their carrier settings to support RCS on iOS 18. Even Videotron has it, yet here we are on Fizz still stuck with crappy, compressed MMS and broken group chats in 2026.
I love the data gifting and the prices, but the lack of basic modern features is becoming a dealbreaker. I have 3 accounts with you guys and I’m going to seriously start looking elsewhere if this isn't fixed soon. I shouldn’t have to deal with prehistoric texting standards in this day and age
Hey greetings!
I am new to face mobile and I installed the mobile app through Aurora store.
[I may ask you kindly to read into Aurora Store before jumping conclusion.](https://auroraoss.com)
Google Play for the Google Play license verification which is unneeded on such apps.
It is extremely disappointing since I was on lucky Mobile prior to fizz, and their application was working fine without Google Play services.
I am asking the developers to not tie the application strictly to Google Play license verification as it is unneeded both for safety and usability.

Fizz is pushing its 5G mobile plans around a simple but powerful promise: all plans include data rollover.
That means unused mobile data automatically transfers to the next month, instead of disappearing at the end of the billing cycle. Fizz says rolled-over data remains valid for the following two payment cycles, and the oldest data is used first.
