Hi everyone,

I wanted to come on here to vent and to get an outsiders perspective. I received a request for a housesitting gig the morning of the request. It was unusual but I was open to it since I love dogs and it has been a while since I last took care of one.

The owner was nearly 4 hours late and was not proactive with giving me updates. I was the one who kept asking. Each update they gave on when they would be back passed and no sight of them. I have never had an experience like this before and it felt very disrespectful towards me. If I had to be somewhere after and made plans according to the booking, I would've been shit out of luck.

It's one thing if you are running 15 minutes late because of traffic but wow, 4 hours is new to me. How would you have dealt with the situation?
