What is making the noise?

Hi y’all. I got a furitek micro komodo motor and I’m wondering why it makes more noise in my transmission than my batrazzi control freak. I want to run the komodo over the control freak since it fits better in my nexxspeed dark knight chassis. I took pics and videos as to try to get a conclusion about my issue. I cant really tell if it will be an issue running the komodo down the line. I did test the komodo separately from the chassis and its really quiet up to full throttle. Could it be meshing (my diffs are really quiet and they’re shimmed), needs more grease in the transmission, or maybe the gear on each motor is machined ever so slightly different? I’m not really too sure

What y’all think?

Still have lots to clean up

Custom chassis and links, forgot to measure wheelbase but it’s pretty long, pretty wide. I’m using fcx24 axles, SCX24 trans w injora pancake. Waiting on a am32 esc and a new rx so I can ditch the stock combo(it’s not well calibration for the 2204 plus I want the tuneable esc) will be 3d printing a body for it so the juice jug shell is only temporary. What do y’all think of my lcg angled skid fcx/scx hybrid ?

Unimog fcx24

Hi everybody! I’m new in the his community, bought a Unimog about a month ago, to enjoy with my little son. He unfortunately dropped it from his hand and since then the Unimog has stopped working. The lights come on and off but no steering or power to the wheels. I’ve changed the batteries. Any advice on where to begin diagnosis? Thank you

Little fun today

Took my FCX24 to a buddies house. It’s amazing how you can just do this for hours with a few cold beers. I stretched the rear end of the Power Wagon, really made a difference.

Samurai FCX24, WIP, getting close to done

Update to my previous post(s): https://www.reddit.com/r/FCX24/s/v2IhqvLgXV

Remix of Domi's SJ410 body, and digid's body mount posts (though there's honestly not much of the original left at this point).

I'd been trying to do a pure magnet mount, but it just wasn't sturdy enough. The body kept coming dislodged with even minor amounts of pressure, so I decided to go for a magnet/hinge hybrid mount. It's probably a little over-engineered (especially the magnetic catch at the rear), but that body isn't going anywhere.

I feel like I'm about done with the design phase, and it's just fine-tuning appearance from here. I'm thinking about trying to print it in ABS/ASA, then acetone vapor smoothing it to get rid of the layer lines...then paint, windows, and lights...timeline TBD.

Added some battrazi upgrades. Brass skid plate, brass servo horn + steering links, brass chassis links & brass wheel hubs. All the extra weight down low has this thing crawling amazing.

Work in progress

Stock was lacking a bit, so I ended up putting the Batrazzi wheels, tires and brass hexes on to lower the center of gravity and Injora shocks to minimize the bounce. I got a set of 3D printed set of wheel wells and floors from Amazon. Now I need a high torque compatible motor and transmission to help move the extra weight around. Any suggestions?
