RE: what is making the noise?

(Copy and paste so y’all don’t have to play ping pong with the posts)
I got a furitek micro komodo motor and I’m wondering why it makes more noise in my transmission than my batrazzi control freak. I want to run the komodo over the control freak since it fits better in my nexxspeed dark knight chassis. I took pics and videos as to try to get a conclusion about my issue. I cant really tell if it will be an issue running the komodo down the line. I did test the komodo separately from the chassis and its really quiet up to full throttle. Could it be meshing (my diffs are really quiet and they’re shimmed), needs more grease in the transmission, or maybe the gear on each motor is machined ever so slightly different? I’m not really too sure.

Granted this is an aftermarket amazon all-metal trans but I did also try both motors with the OE trans and I got the same results as with the all-metal trans. All runs were with them were in neutral. I know there could be some fluid friction but even with it in gear it still makes noise.

So I do have to put reverse throttle on the TX oddly enough it’s much more quiet when in gear and going in reverse. Hopefully that gives an idea.

TLDR: very slow speeds, no tapping; gradually getting faster, more tippy taps upon acceleration. Little to no tippy taps going slow in reverse.
