TRX send to unknown wallet, without me touching it

I sent some funds to my other Exodus internal wallet (should have transferred internally, but thought of it too late). Than it didn't arrive for a long time. When I checked the transaction list I see that it send the exact same amount -1 Trx to a third address I have never seen before.

How is this possible, could it be possible to have been hacked on a Mac?

I know anyone would think I made the transaction myself, but I'm 1000% sure I did not send more than 1 transaction today, let alone to some wallet I have never seen.

portfolio disappeared i need help

I'm having a major problem. I formatted my computer and reinstalled Exodus normally. I have it on both my phone and my computer, and when I started Exodus I ran the sync to pull my data from my phone to the computer. Everything worked perfectly, but after a few minutes my portfolios simply disappeared from both my phone and my computer. I have my secret keys, but this has happened before. I tried recreating the portfolios the same way I had done previously and the balance reappeared — however, on one of the portfolios the balance is not showing up.

How do I activate USDT Tron on Exodus?

I want to receive USDT through Tron but exodus says something about activation that bothers me, I don't know what it means, I'm clicking activate but it does nothing. I get this message:

Unable to Activate Account

An error occurred while attempting to activate your new Tron account.

Please try again later or contact us at support@exodus.com.

I now don't feel confident receiving the USDT, will I face a problem? I don't know how to activate it.

Funds stolen!!!

Hello guys,

I had my crypto on a trezor and connected to Exodus.

Today I just saw that all my crypto was taken out exodus/trezor and moved to another address.
I had my trezor on a safe, same with my 24 seed phrase that even I didnt know all the words.
I saw today that no one had access to my physical trezor or to my pass phrases.
how could this ever happen if they dont have access to my things?

This is one of the transactions Id that took my btc.

Stop Prompting Like It’s 2023: The Definitive Guide to Claude’s Hidden “Cheat Codes” and 4.7 Power-User Workflows

The evolution of large language models (LLMs) has transitioned from simple text generation to complex, agentic reasoning. Within this landscape, Anthropic’s Claude series—specifically the 4.7 and 4.6 iterations—has introduced a sophisticated set of architectural features that reward structured, technical interaction. While casual users rely on natural language, power users leverage what the community colloquially terms “cheat codes”: specific structural patterns, API parameters, and persistent configuration files that unlock the model’s full cognitive potential. This article examines these advanced techniques, providing a technical framework for maximizing output quality and reasoning depth.

The Effort Parameter: Calibrating Cognitive Load

One of the most significant advancements in the 2026 Claude ecosystem is the introduction of explicit effort levels. Unlike previous models that attempted to guess the required depth of reasoning, Claude now allows users to programmatically or via system instructions define the “brain power” allocated to a task. This is not merely a speed-versus-quality toggle; it is a fundamental shift in how the model’s sub-agents are spawned and managed.

Structural Integrity: The XML Tag Standard

Anthropic’s models are uniquely trained to recognize and respect XML-style tags. This is perhaps the most effective “cheat code” for complex prompts. By wrapping different components of a prompt in tags such as `<context>`, `<instructions>`, and `<examples>`, users provide the model with a clear hierarchy of information. This structure mimics the model’s internal training data, significantly reducing the likelihood of instruction drift in long-context windows [1].

“When your prompts involve multiple components like context, instructions, and examples, XML tags can be a game-changer. They help Claude parse information more accurately than standard paragraph breaks.” [2]

Response Pre-filling: Steering the Output

A powerful but underutilized technique is “response pre-filling.” By providing the first few characters or sentences of Claude’s response, a user can force the model into a specific format or persona without lengthy instructions. For instance, starting a response with `{` immediately signals to the model that it must output valid JSON. In creative writing, pre-filling the first sentence in a specific tone ensures the model maintains that “vibe” throughout the entire generation.

The Developer’s Secret: CLAUDE.md and Project Rules

For developers using the Claude Code CLI or the Projects feature, the `CLAUDE.md` file serves as a persistent “cheat code” for the entire repository. This file acts as a set of immutable laws that the model must follow for every interaction within that project. Effective `CLAUDE.md` files typically include:

•	Coding Standards: Specific linting rules or architectural patterns (e.g., “Always use functional components”).

•	Contextual Anchors: Explanations of complex internal logic that the model might otherwise misunderstand.

•	Workflow Instructions: Commands for running tests or deploying code that Claude can execute autonomously.

Adaptive Thinking and Sub-agent Management

The latest Claude models feature “Adaptive Thinking,” where the model decides whether to engage in internal reasoning before responding. Power users can steer this behavior using the `<thinking>` tag. By explicitly instructing the model to “think step-by-step within `<thinking>` tags,” users can observe the model’s logic and identify where it might be hallucinating. Furthermore, in agentic workflows, users can now control “sub-agent spawning”—the model’s ability to delegate tasks to smaller, specialized instances of itself. Instructing Claude to “spawn a sub-agent for edge-case verification” is a high-level command that ensures a level of rigor unattainable through standard prompting.

Recent Exodus Wallet Thefts

Hi everyone,

I'm an independent Cyber Security Researcher specializing in Reverse Malware Engineering. The current sample I am working on has a component that searches specifically for Exodus wallets and extracts them.

It appears to be the case that many of you are having issues with your wallets being drained. For anyone who has had a wallet drained would you mind commenting below what happened? The Malware Sample I am examining uses Discord as its delivery method and often is downloaded by the victim under the guise that it is a pirated game / mod / cracked software.

Thanks everyone! Sorry to see this has happened to your community.

p.s at this time I am unable to disclose the methods in which these hacks are taking place. This is to give developers time to patch their systems and reduce copy-cat hackers from exploiting more people.

After 2 weeks of mining and an initial investment of 25 USD. Regardless, pls do your own research before investment.

False Positive or Should i be worried?

Recently, my Exodus wallet suddenly showed a warning that my funds are at risk and a 3rd party connection compromised my wallet.

That wallet is newly created only few days old. Only connection to it is from my exodus pc version which is synced and from Token Pocket and Phantom

I know i can just transfer all of my balance to a new wallet easily. But for some reasons i need to recieve funds on that wallet and can't change it immediately.

Using the 12-word seed in another wallet doesnt work? (Atomic). I guess it should since its BIP39?

Since Exodus is supposed to use a BIP39 seed that generates all the private and public keys I decided to generate a wallet inside Atomic wallet (it supports Midnight coin) using my 12-word seed from Exodus.

No crypto showed up and when I generated receive addresses other addresses where generated than in Exodus?

Shouldn't they be the same when generated from the same seed? I would like to be not reliant on Exodus but be able to use my seed with other wallet software as well.

Anyone else target smaller casinos for leaderboards?

A bit off topic but this is for my fellow degen crypto casino users here. Something I don’t see people talk about much is the fact that leaderboards are way easier to place on smaller casinos.

All of these crypto casinos have similar wagered leaderboards that they run on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. But on the big casinos you have basically no hope at getting decent rewards. I'm a pretty big degen and I've never been able to get a solid position on the Stake or RB leaderboards.

I started to look for smaller crypto casinos with solid bonus schemes (if I'm gonna bet a lot I want decent bang for my buck). Recently I started using Bitstarz.com because they have a pretty crazy deposit bonus program (I used this link - https://bzstarz1.com/bi9m1rebw that I found on twitter with the code MAXBONUS to get the best offer. Just an fyi it combines 2 different promos they're running).

Since I started betting with them I’ve been able to place way higher on wager based promos with the same bankroll I used elsewhere. Less competition, same games, same odds. Seems to make way more sense to just target smaller crypto casinos that don't have to recoup all of the money they spend on paying influencers don't you think?

Secure your exodus wallet

I have seen a lot of threads from people saying their funds were stolen from Exodus Wallet, so here is a simple guide to reduce the risk.

As far as we know, Exodus itself is not stealing users' funds. In most cases, the real cause is poor security on the user's side.

  1. do not store your seed phrase in password manager apps. That is one of the biggest mistakes people make. If that app or device gets compromised, the attacker can gain access to every seed phrase stored there.

  2. be careful with platforms like Steam, Epic, Ubisoft, and the EA store. These apps themselves are fine, but third party games, indie titles, and anything with modding support can increase your risk. If you use them, stick to well known game companies and avoid mods.

  3. do not install any cracked software or cracked games.

  4. when downloading software, stick to well known, reputable, preferably open source programs, and always download them from the official website. Avoid third party download sites, because they often add adware/malware to it.

[WINDOWS | Exodus 26.3.11] HELP! Syncing mobile wallet to desktop, camera preview is greyed out with a diagonal line — cannot scan QR code from my phone.

I can't sync my mobile wallet to my desktop wallet. Choosing to sync the wallet from my phone, the preview on the app when scanning QR code looks something like this:

(Not a screenshot, but an exact image of what my webcam appeared like in the app)

I have permissions enabled in system settings for Exodus to use my webcam yet it still showed up like this. Has this happened to anyone else? Hopefully someone has a fix.

[ SCAM ALERT ] Changelly was delisted from Bestchange after approximately 284 financial claims on bestchange ru and bestchange com, but is still allowed on the Appstore/Play store. Changelly, HitBtc, Changee are relevant

My funds have been held by changelly for 5 years, my kyc status was verified also

but they continue to try to hold my funds. wont release my withdrawal for reason that they're asking me to provide a statement from the cellular company that i own the number

my number has been inactive for 4 years, and they said they won't help me if I don't provide the documentation

on reddit almost every day there are new posts from users that changelly is holding their funds for months and years

maybe i guess there are probably almost thousands of users who aren't included in the posts also

almost every platform,Trustpilot, playstore, and appstore contains fake reviews created by changelly

how can I file or report this case on google and the appstore?

i feels every day, more unsuspecting users download this app, lured by manipulated ratings, only to have their funds seized later. how many more people have to lose

Exodus Wallet: Trust Lost in One Swap

Ah where to begin, first off I just wanted to say i've been in the crypto space for more than 10 years, been using exodus for more than 3 years, and have done hundreds if not thousands of transactions and swaps with Exodus as a hot wallet. I've never had an issue and have trusted them as a self custodial no KYC hot wallet until now.

Very old ex roommate of mine randomly asked me to purchase some crypto I convinced him to buy many years back, I sent him a zelle payment, he sent me the ETH. I swapped the funds from ETH to BTC (smaller amount, around $1300). I came back around 4 hours later and plugged in my ledger to my laptop which is where I store all of my crypto and while trying to transfer the BTC to my ledger, I noticed it was still swapping after 5 hours and I noticed a "Please contact us about this swap" message in the additional info section of the transaction.

I emailed support, and it turns out Exodus outsources swaps to third-party providers. Mine got routed to a shady russian off shore swap service (Simple.io) that immediately froze my funds and demanded KYC. After digging around, I found a ton of similar complaints about this provider, almost every story the same, people stuck in endless verification loops with no resolution. What I mean by that is nearly every single story about this swap service is the same, shady swap service freezes funds and requests KYC ----> victim of their service provides KYC ----> shady swap service stops responding, requests more KYC and documents, and almost always holds funds indefinitely.

Just wanted to say this was a huge blow as i've always enjoyed using exodus, enjoy their UI and their support but this is surely the last time I will ever use their service. I wanted to make this post because after many years of hearing stories like this, I thought it would never happen to me because I always thought the victims of these scams were not actual victims, but involved in financial crimes. For example I would read nightmare stories with people losing hundreds of thousands, if not millions through a swap with Changelly and I would think this person was almost certainly involved in some sort of financial crime. After experiencing this myself I am almost grateful it was a smaller amount of money but nonetheless i've learned my lesson. Beware when using Exodus Wallet, their integrity is compromised and we pay relatively higher fees using their wallet just for our funds to get potentially stolen!

I also want to add i'm almost sure i'm going to get some comment along the lines of, "But you agreed to use a third party swap service when swapping with Exodus blah blah blah"

When using a self-custodial, no KYC wallet, the reasonable expectation is that you retain control of your funds and aren’t subjected to surprise identity checks mid transaction. If a swap relies on a third party that can freeze funds and demand KYC, that risk should be made extremely clear before the user commits.. Not discovered after funds are already locked. Stay safe out there friends, goodbye Exodus.
