Has anyone wondered how would it be to have say a BambuLab H2 series in terms of speed improvement?

When I first bought the Ender 3 S1 Pro did it with the upgradeability in mind just to find out later that would have been better to go all in with a full fletched printer but… budget right?. Since then I have upgraded with linear X-Y rails, Taurus V5 cooling duct, cryogrip plate and SonicPad which I have been hesitant to upgrade with Debian firmware, I even bought the BTT Eddy probe but still…

So I was curious if I set a Bambu H2D in OrcaSlicer and slice an already successful print on the Ender and see how it would compare speed wise against a Core X-Y printer. To my surprise both sliced the same print time with more or less the same print settings. Have you tried this? Is printing speed further tweaked within the printer?

I know, I know, you would get a whole lot more improvements in terms of materials, quality, reliability, size, etc. but this is just to get an idea of how would it be I’m planning on getting myself one down the road but time and budget will tell.

I have been printing almost constantly for 3 weeks. Started with PLA, then started printing some stuff with PETG. Ran out of PETG filament and switched back to PLA. First print didn't stick, I thought maybe I didn't get the build plate clean enough. Second print didn't stick. So I leveled the bed again. Still didn't stick. I have leveled the bed 3 more times, and cleaned the build plate at least as many times. I am not sure what else to do, any help would appreciated.

Temps I am using for this PLA which worked in the past are 60c bed 200c nozzle, if that helps.

Hola compás, necesito ayuda técnica… alguien a impreso ASA en la S1? De ser así con que filamento y que cuidados hay que tener? Debo hacer una pieza en asa que sería lo más cercano a filamentos un poco más técnicos pero nose si pueda en ella… alguien que lo haya hecho y me oriente ya que la verdad no quiero estropearla. I preheated the PLA, nozzle to 200, bed to 60, everything was going well just doing what I do to normally print. It heated up to 200 then immediately heated back down to 14 at the start of the print, now it is stuck at 14 and not heating back up at all, I dont know why this is happening, I have a con to go to in 3 weeks and need to start on my costume :,(

Let me start off by saying thank you to anyone who reads this post. I am honestly at my whits end with this printer, actually considering replacing it its given me that much of a headache but as Victor Frankenstein once did, i believe i can get this Monster working.

So to start off with, I replaced the print bed. The Original print bed it came with was getting damaged via PETG so I replaced it with a PEI bed. Now I could not for the lift of me find a print bed for the S1 Plus, the print bed is 310x315 and all of the print beds on amazon where for the S1 Pro - not the Plus. This bed has been great however its worth mentioning it is a PEI bed, not the standard bed.

I had to replace the entire hot end too, reason - plastic blob paid me a visit. Now I don't know how it happened but the plastic was so wrapped around its self that it damage the thermomotor so i had to get that replaced. Now the hot end on the S1 Plus is the same as the Pro so I found one on amazon and replaced it.

And its been running iffy since then.

I cant tell at all what's wrong with it. I have levelled the bed using Manual Trimming and the CL Touch. All four corners are 0.04mm within each other. the lowest is like 0.02 and the highest is 0.06.

Sometimes the PETG doesn't stick to each other while its printing so i have little strands of PETG just sticking up and normally this will somehow make its way into the fan or the strand will attach its self to the hot end or a mini ball of PETG will appear on the hot end and scrap the print. I do not know why or how to fix this, all the bolts are tight and are on, theres no gaps as far as i can tell.

Not even to mention i think the entire print head is slanted and dipping into the print. It doesn't sit straight. I have tried tightening the bolts and all the bolts are tight.

I am printing the PETG at 230 and 80. PLA at 215 and 70. I get somewhat better quality with PAL but same issues happen. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Hello, so it's my first time printing petg, i changed the setting to the recommended but my print is coming out like this, any idea?

I acquired a Plus model, and when I turn the printer on, the screen is just a backlight blue but still beeps when I tap on it. I bought a 3-pin kit because I thought it was a voltage issue, but I’m in the same place.

I have tried to reflash the motherboard and screen but I have had no luck. Any other advice would be appreciated!
