Wondering if anyone knows what's going on near Bryn Mawr and Sheridan, by the St. Andrews parking lot. Not there right now, but getting texts about it.

I’m planning on moving to Rogers Park from the west coast in a few months, and and as a serial insomniac I’m wondering which parts of the neighborhood are the best to walk around between midnight and 3 AM. Of course I always stick to well-lit paths

blockclubchicago.orgI’ve lived in Edgewater a few years and have really enjoyed it. I like the feel of the neighborhood, the proximity to the lake and transport and how GREEN it is!
I may end up moving a little closer to the city and want to know if anyone has recs on what neighborhoods may have a similar feel to edgewater.

chicago.suntimes.comAnyone missing a black hen?
A small, black hen was found near Pratt/California walking through yards. We checked with the only house we know of within 2 blocks that has a coop and its not theirs. Currently it's in my back yard being fed and watered, so if you're missing a bird let me know.
Also, potentially looking for someone to take her if we cant find her owners. She looks like she's probably an egg layer rather than a meat bird so if you want an addition to your coop she's free to a good home.
