EHS interviews

I got shortlisted for EHS internal medicine interview that is in person and they want me to confirm at my earliest. But I live in Pakistan and can not travel to Sharjah due to my C section five days ago. Should I request for online interview?

MBRU Internship portfolio reassessment

Hello I’m unable to find the reassessment option for MBRU internship. I’ve been checking since the scores arrived and can’t find it.
As per the mail it was supposed to open ‘after two days’ so I tried again a while ago didn’t see it and I was checking the notifications in the portal where I saw it said you had to do it ‘within two days’ or else it will be accepted as if you’re okay with the score which doesn’t make sense to me is it ‘after two days’ or ‘within two days’? I’ve mailed the admissions department but still if anyone has done it please guide me.

Is it true that it is very hard for expats to get accepted in residency programs? I’m an Arab, Im hesitated in applying for medical college in uae as I heard that I have low chance to get into residency as they are mostly for citizens. Is it true?

Hello,
I applied for a clinical attachment via MBRU two weeks ago but I still got no response, on the website it shows that my application is not even in progress,
Does any one knows how long does the process usually take?

And if possible, does anyone know know how to contact the American hospital in Dubai to ask for a clinical attachment just in case

Thanks in advance

I am not applying for residency this year yet but I want this information to know where it is best to go for internship. The DHA website doesnt show me which hospitals have pediatrics since the application closed for this cycle.

Thank you

Hey everyone! I’m currently working in Abu Dhabi, while my fiancée is in India. She’s been a doctor there for two years after her MBBS and is now at a crossroads—where should she do her post-graduation (PG)?

We plan to eventually live together in the UAE, but here’s the challenge:

- Getting into a PG program in the UAE as an expat with an MBBS from India is difficult.

- If she does her PG in India, she’ll need around three years of PG studies plus three years of experience to become a specialist recognized in the UAE. That’s potentially six more years of long-distance before we can fully settle down and start a family here.

We’re stuck between these options, and it’s a big life call—balancing her career growth with our personal plans.

So, I’d love to hear from anyone who’s navigated something similar:

Are there alternative pathways we haven’t considered?

If you’ve moved to the UAE after medical specialization abroad, how did you manage it?

Any advice on balancing long-term career steps with personal life plans like ours?

Any honest perspectives would really help us think clearer. Thanks a ton!

Does anyone have any tips on how to prepare? Is it going to be ethical questions or are medical questions and/or examinations expected as well? Is it more like a conversation and back and forth questions and answers or do I have to speak on my own for the entire duration of the station(s)? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
