"Every tech bro application landing on their desk looks IDENTICAL right now.

Patents filed in 2024-2025 that were clearly never meant to exist. 60-70 peer reviews in six months. served as some Advisory board at a tier-2 university, joined 7 months ago. Convenient. Every one of us our self claim leaders on Linkedin. I am so fed up opening LinkedIn.

IEEE Senior, IET Fellow, BCS, SCRS etc etc literally every single applicant have these. Every. Single. One.

Published papers IGI Global papers or low quality blog articles or journals in the last one year. Citations that were clearly bought. Paid PR articles that sound like “visionary disrupting next-gen paradigms”.

Original contribution? “I reduced latency by 40% of some famous product at FAANG.” There’s 300 engineers on that team bro. Another guy’s saying his work got adopted by another team in the SAME company. How is it significant to the field? If I argue on scale that scale belongs to the company I am not single handedly responsible for creating that scale. I most of us failing because let’s be honest we are not extraordinary. We did not contribute anything to the field of endeavor as we are claiming. Scale argument won’t work. By that logic if I fix a small bug then also I am extraordinary.

Gartner report dropped like it’s evidence from God.

And now suddenly everyone’s doing AI agents, GitHub repos appeared overnight, LinkedIn posts sound like they discovered electricity.

LORs written by the attorney, signed by someone who’s never met you. If patents are pending and you never wrote a good article or paper about it how is that person even writing a letter ?

The officer will be reading this exact application 200 times in a single day . Every exhibit, every claim, every word is identical. People are using Claude so much that they are just plain fed up. They exactly know what happens when they give an RFE or NOID on how attorneys are going to argue. They can figure out a pattern in recommendation letter or anywhere they are rejecting it.

Why would they say yes? Why should they say yes?

The whole tech industry gamed the profile instead of building the career. Then comes here and cries when it doesn’t work.

The system isn’t broken. Everyone just showed up with the same fake ID."
