What is your favorite Tangerine Dream album? I've always enjoyed most of what I've heard from them, but the catalog is overwhelming 😅

Today I finally released my fourth album “Lord Of Lavender”. I spent about an entire year working on this album in between other projects and trying to get my life on track. I have never spent even close to this amount of time and resources on any project to date and am incredibly excited to finally put it out into the world.

This album truly marks the beginning of a new era for Potions Of Eleanor and the climax of years of hard work and momentum. I’m sincerely grateful to everyone that’s stuck by my side and supported me along the way and this album is dedicated to you. A piece of each one of you lives within this album. Forever.

I’ve been revisiting a lot of old RPG soundtracks lately and it got me thinking about how much they overlap with dungeon synth in terms of atmosphere and composition especially the more minimal or darker tracks

In case you missed it, I'm sharing this new black metal/DS release (à la Summoning) that you all may enjoy (I definitely am).

While Bo's first album sits comfortably in the instrumental progressive rock genre, the tone and atmosphere definitely rub elbows with DS, and it surely inspired later music that would adopt themes of high fantasy. A friend of mine who knows I love DS sent me this recommendation last year, and it's been on regular rotation ever since. I hope that you enjoy.
