compiled an EPUB of part 1 as a personal project to learn working with epubs.

the chapters were condensed to single chapters instead of split and added the official illustrations and some artworks with credit (all linked)

additionally there is a chapter specifically to the world setting as a reference to not rely on outside media when reading

chapters were given "titles" based on the ghost story that they are dealing with, for chapters that don't deal with ghost stories they have a 1-2 word title that could be recognized by old readers

I tested it with "episteme" epub reader, some readers don't really like putting space between dialogue (like lithium)

Hello! I've been a fan of this novel for a LONG time but its also been a Long time since I Read the novel, and Recently my friends wanted to play a quick horror themed TTRPG and I decided, why not use this verse?

I ofc changed a lot of stuff to make more sense for a TTRPG scenario, but now need some help with the Ghost Stories my players will meet.

The plot of my game is that these 6 players were all childhood friends on this very small town, but one day this huge corporation set there and things went as usual for 5 years, untill an incident happened involving the city's dam and They had to evacuate, the corporation paid reparations to the families and no one died, but everyone moved away and they never met again.

Untill years later when they received a link to confirm their participation on the selection process for a job in the Corporation, each character has their reasons to End up accepting It (some Really need a job, some Just want to go back to the city, etc), they will meet again in the selection process and join this version of Daydream INC

Now, what I need first are ideas for the Ghost Story of the selection process, because I cant Really use the First one in the novel, as the Only reason things worked for Kim Soleum was because he had outside information. I need the 6 players to manage an adventure where They can figure out the way to exit without meta information! Does anyone know a good one that could work as the selection process one? Or have an idea of your own?

Also, the secret plot of this game is that the players have a 7th friend whom was erased from their memories, as Children They got stuck in a Ghost story that was Very traumatizing and all of them but the 7th friend escapes, they had their memories of him erased, but he still remembers everything and later managed to leave the Ghost story as well, he is "contamined" and wants revenge on the 6 friends that in his mind "abandoned/betrayed" him, so he is the one who sent the link for them, as well as registering on the Corporation some years Ago, he is a supervisor now, whom will be in the "recruit training" team with the players.

He basically wants to make each of them get stuck/contamined in different stories and suffer as much as he did.

Anyway, do you guys have suggestions for this plot and which Ghost Stories would work well for this plot and in a TTRPG?

i’m still on pt1 but with the hungry hangman arc/d-squad disbandment (in my eyes bro I miss haje and minseong) and braun/kim soleum friendship break up I do NOT feel good 😭😭😭 wdym my novel about freaky ghost stories and horror has disastrous events happening that affects the characters I love and creates angst

does the suffering of KSE get any better or is it just L after L for him…

I lowkey just wanna know if Ryu and Choi will eventually find out that Kse is >!a spy!< that’s all lol (just a yes or no answer is enough)
