hey everyone! i’ve had this tattoo for around 2 years and i’m starting to heavily regret it. it’s not my style anymore… i would like it to be more creepy, realistic and less ‘manic pixie dream girl’ like. i also don’t really like how messy it is with all the sparkles and stuff. i’m really into oddities, insects and such so i would love something inspired by that! does anyone have any ideas? :)

I'm looking for someone with some graphic design/tattoo planning or design experience to help me plan out my tattoos.

What I'd like is someone to put specific designs on different parts of a body so I can decide which styles I want and where, with some custom aspects. I had played with some tattoo planning apps, but need someone with some drawing experience to get exactly what I need. I can provide reference images of what I want, which you can just export and paste on for the most part, but need some customization, on like spacing or how to connect tattoos with each other.

I'm not necessarily looking for any original artwork (which I'm open to - but will be going to specific artists based on the styles I already have in mind), but do need someone who is willing to add some customization on different styles and designs.

Example of what I'm looking for:

Design 1: a full left arm sleeve with a black and gray Japanese style that has a dragon on the shoulder and Japanese house on the forearm and flames going onto the traps; right leg with a half sleeve on the thigh with a traditional samoan pattern with triangular shapes coming down to the knee and an American traditional owl on the stomach.

Design 2: a full traditional Japanese colored tattoo sleeve with Sakura trees, and half sleeve on the right leg with circular geometric patterns, and a large buddha on the entire back etc.

I'll want a number of designs on different parts of the body with these different styles so I can plan out my tattoos. Again, I'm not asking for for any original or super detailed artwork on them (mostly reference images/pngs), but do need someone who is able to add custom aspects/designs in certain areas.

I've attached an image of one of the tattoo apps I used, but will need someone to be able to custom design certain aspects of it (ie: I want the patterns on the right shoulder to go across the chest and also wrap around onto the shoulder blades, etc.) [These were just pngs I took from Google and pasted on]

Hi everyone! I have an existing floral/ornamental sternum tattoo that I need some help with. I already have an artist that did some fixing that will be adding more on Sunday, but we need some more help.

I like the floral branch style wrapping around the upper arm/shoulder, but I’m struggling with how to communicate it to an artist since the flow around the arm is the main thing I like about it. I don’t want an exact copy, but I also don’t want to just tell someone to freehand my arm with zero plan. How would i describe this to an artist and how to tattoos like this usually get stenciled?

My whole arm is ocean themed. I am wanting to do a dove with the olive branch on my hand. What can I cover this “1997” up with? I need ideas please 😩

So, I have this 5 year old tattoo on my thigh, my thighs are quite thin and this tattoo takes up the entirety of the width of my thigh, what’s worse is it’s my only tattoo and I just feel like it not only looks so out of place, it’s way bolder then I would have liked and the line work is absolutely terrible. Honestly, I wasn’t sober when I got this tattoo done and actually woke up forgetting I had it, I regret it so much.

obviously I’d like something light and dainty but I know it’s not possible, I’m Gen Z and tend to prefer trendy Gen Z styles. My only idea so far is to do almost a manga page inspired tattoo where one half of this tattoo can be filled in like a blacked out page and then the other half can have an image added to it? That would maybe help so they have less to work with covering? But I wouldn’t want the page to be filled with an anime character since I don’t watch any anime apart from Nana. I just want some inspiration I guess and ideas🥲

I’m not gonna share a picture of my real arm, but I basically drew a little design that would fit over the scars. I don’t really know what it can be though. I’m willing to add as much to it as possible. I just need an idea. I feel like it could be a lizard or a bird or something, but I’m just not an artist like that.

Hey yall, this was my first tattoo I ever got done when I was like 17 and don’t get me wrong, I love it but it’s too basic and boring for me. I’m really into creepy ish, more alternative tattoos (I’ll put my other tattoos in the replies for reference) but any ideas would help:) the only thing my mind goes to is clouds

Recently got a flash tattoo on vacation and god, does it look too phallic for me. The placement is above my elbow and I have drawn a blueprint idea for an artist. Any ideas or recommendations before I commit to my blueprint?

It’s half the size of a credit card (lol) and can’t be too detailed for muddying purposes.

This was a tree I saw in Agra India and I took a shitty photo which has since been edited. Looking to have it turned into a sketch page of 4-5 different designs (doodles) of small - medium size. Each should be a bit different. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about the tree itself. The face and the garland may be enough, but perhaps the tree would also be cool. I leave that to you artistically. No colour please. I love his mischievous smile

Hi everyone.

I recently lost my dog. She was with me since I was 10, and she meant the absolute world to me. I'm currently living in the US, and she passed away back in Nepal . I never got the chance to see her ever since I came to the US and didn't get a chance to say goodbye as well.

I've decided to honor her by getting a tattoo of her. I've always wanted to get a tattoo but never knew what to get and I think this will make a perfect start.

I've added 4 of my favorite photos of her and will be extremely grateful for any suggestions. I'm open to styles and just want something to honor her and the impact she's had on my life. I want to get something small to start out with and will probably get it somewhere on my upper of lower limb.

I am college student and do not have a lot of money so I can only tip around 5-10$. I'm sorry if this is too little.
