Did anyone attend the now defunct Luau at the Polynesian?

For those that don’t know for decades the Polynesian resort at Walt Disney World hosted a dinner show at an outdoor Luau. It had dancers, firewalkers, singing, etc.

It closed along with the rest of the resort due to Covid and never reopened. I never got the chance to experience it. I was wondering if anyone has any memories of attending these shows?

Last Restaurant Recommendation needed

I have a trip booked from Thursday October 29 - Saturday November 7 at Port Orleans French Quarter with my wife and 4 kids. We will be doing Epcot, HS, AK and MK (twice). We have 8 dinner restaurants we are going to book (in the parks we decided in Mexico in Epcot, skipper canteen, sci-fi dine in, yak and yeti). Ohana at Poly, and in Disney springs, T Rex, Boathouse and Art Smith’s homecoming. We have one more we need to book. Should we eat at Boaterights in Riverside or take the boat to Disney springs for something better? Would you recommend The Edison or another restaurant with young kids in Disney Springs that would be a better option than Boatwrights? Thanks!

Passport to Morimoto Asia Meal, April | Malaysia

Since the start of the 10th anniversary of Morimoto Asia last year, the Disney Springs location has been doing monthly meals and drinks, each representing a different area in Asia. If you go to every single month, you get a meal with Chef Morimoto. But, if you missed them, you can still try future options. This month is:

• Kapitan Chicken: peranakan chicken curry, coconut rice, okra
• Tamarind Margarita: Espolòn Blanco, tamarind juice, rich cinnamon syrup, orgeat, allspice dram, lime juice, togarashi salt rim

mid january crowd levels?

thought early february would be light work.. was genuinely one of the busiest i've seen it. think a lot of it was cheer/dance competitions. how does mid january compare? was thinking of the second week mon-fri. i know there's really no "slow season", but i figure everyone should be going back to work/school post holidays then - plus, epcot is my favorite park, and it's a rare festival off season which i'm hoping will mean lower wait times over there! has anyone gone during this time within the last few years? how was it? :)

Looking for ideas for a mission/hunt around the parks

Posting for a friend - my mate has been twice before, and the first time him and his missus went ‘princess hunting’ around Epcot to record happy birthday videos for a family member, and the second time they got a card signed at all character meets to use as a boarder in a photo frame. This time they are taking their 1 and 2 year old and are trying to think of a new goal to aim for to have a bit of extra fun, I can’t think of any. Any ideas please?

Photo of the incomplete photo frame in case I haven’t explained it well

Hey! The website suddenly has an hour long queue almost, is something releasing today? I was just hoping to book a regular holiday, but things got a bit intense?

Not gonna lie, I'm so happy Bobo seems to have a part in Rock n Rollercoaster. He's one of my favorite Muppets and I feel he's often overshadowed

Man at WDW arrested for pushing 18 y.o. woman accused of line cutting

Apparently she was pushing through the line with a friend in order to “meet up with her group” when the man (a UK guest) held out his arm to stop her, he told her that there was a queue, and when she tried to walk past him, he shoved her backwards into her friend, causing them to fall to the ground.

While many of us can sympathize with the man, laying hands on another guests is never the answer outside of life threatening emergencies.

What could be done to prevent future incidents?

Garden View Lounge – Tea Experience (hosted by DisneyEats)

I was invited out to experience The Garden View Lounge – Tea Experience at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This $79 (adult) $49 (kid) experience lets you enjoy a slow, leisurely set of treats, eats and tea sips.

I have not experienced another multi-hour tea experience at other Florida hotels, so I cannot fully compare to what other 5 Star locations have. But what I can is that the food is more than I expected, the tea selection was much more than standard Twinings Tea and our server was very well trained. It felt private, special and a good mix of upscale with Disney flair.

This isn't something you do each weekend, but if you are looking for an excuse get extra fancy at the Grand Floridian, this was a really nice experience.

Our trip is coming up soon and I'm nervous! I feel like I have been studying for final exams and I'm not sure I am prepared enough. I want to just relax and enjoy my vacation but there is so much to know and I definitely don't know it all

Anyone else with good (or funny) song luck on guardians?

I’ve ridden the ride 7 times and gotten a repeat only once (September)!
