I feel like landfall tokens is my best bet, but I am not nearly a good enough deck builder to make it work.
This was my OG commander back in the day. Getting back into Magic after a 10yr odd break and I want to remake it better than ever.
I will take any suggestions on where to start.
Help me people of Reddit, your my only hope.
Deck list so far:

I'm building this Greensleeves deck for my friend, who really enjoys playing this but isn't that experienced yet.
The pod he'll be playing with will mostly like to play some more high powered decks.
I'm not that experienced with mono green since I mostly play Dimir and other non-landfall multicolored decks. So I wish to help him keep up with the pod.
Also I do wish to keep the price of the deck not too much higher than €150 euro's since we're trying not to use any proxies.
Anyone any ideas?
Edit:
The experience I have so far is that as soon as you have 3 or more lands and one synergy piece, you're fine.
But coming there feels a bit miserable, maybe that's me being used to other colors/combinations. I was at least interested if there were any ideas about this
Edit 2:
If you want to look in the deck
Blue = mana advantage
Yellow = card draw
Dark blue = graveyard retrieval
Red = removal
Looking to build something nasty and more on the higher end, which do yall think could be built at that level?
- Elf Tribal & +1/+1
- Kelsian removal and assassins
- Fractals
- Aristocrat/ Theft
Any help always appreciated!
I really wanna do an Amarant Coral Deck (simply because the card art is cool and i wanna punch people with him) but i tried building him and Fell into a generic voltron hole and idk how to get out. I like the idea of no protection
One idea i had left was spellslinging because i liked him with bunch of combat Tricks but idk if i can really do that in green and Red, is that a viable strat or how would you build him?
Holaaaa… What’s your favorite deck, the one you always pull out, that always surprises people, and shines with a high win rate?
Greets
Totally free to play in browser, easy to use, smooth as butter, feature rich, customizable, has sounds and animations. Open beta.
So i built a budget squall deck w/o any game changers and my playgroup says it is weak and suffers from only attacking 1 person at a time and combat dmg must connect. Then everyone agreed.
Granted, i tried the deck against their b4 decks. But still, this sparked a fire inside me. I want to slowly wipe the smile off their faces and maybe stop them from playing magic and look at my commander as a threat and not a cute bystander.
This got me thinking. If only i could stop/delay them from casting their threats/combos/etc, while i find my "lose life/gain life combo","lock the game combo", or "ping combo" pieces by abusing library mill and putting cards from graveyard to hand/play.
Of course, my alternate win condition is for my squall to deal commander damage to my opponents.
Top of my mind, i would be using the ff:
- [[drannith magistrate]] - stop thoracle, other shinanigans. Sacrifice this creature when im ready to combo off.
- [[opposition agent]] - stop opponents from tutoring. Sacrifice this creature when im ready to combo off.
- [[orcish bowmasters]] -- just because?
- [[demonic tutor]], [[vampiric tutor]], [[enlightened tutor]] -- why not?
- ballista ping combo
- aristocrats gain life lose life combo
- aristocrats mill opponent out combo
- stax pieces
-----
Will you guys please recommend combos, stax pcs, game lock pcs, other lines of winning, etc.
I think the biggest problem im currently facing is how to start the engine as i play stax pcs to slow everyone else down.
Any inputs will be well appreciated. Thanks!
Hello degens, just wanting to put this list here for inspection of degeneracy. Ive been playing the Arna since MH3 dropped and it started as a 50 dollar budget deck and is now my favorite, blinged out to match. I've made a decent focus on pieces that can consistently affect opponents board states and it's been the absolute villain of my main group for a long time. If I've missed any agonizing equipment or auras I'd love some feedback and suggestions.
I have put more than $200 into this deck, I've curved the average cmc to 2-3, I've put in every untapped dual land I could afford into it, I reduced chaff, I put in cards I was sick of seeing, I bought the cards that I had proxied, and I took out Cathar's Crusade because it's 5 mana wasted since it gets blown up immediately. No matter what I do, the deck gets demolished.
I love the idea of this card, I love what it does, I love the synergies, but every time I go to update cards with newer sets (just pulled the new Silverquill, decided to try that direction), just looking at the purple sleeves it's in makes me sad.
Are there any cases of this commander being even remotely threatening? I imagine it's gotta be considered a threat for everything to be blown up and locked out every single time, but what can I do?
I am building up an MPC proxy order and have a few decks I am building, but dont have a full order locked in.
Any ideas for commanders that are fun and degenerate? My pod usually plays b4 and I dont have a budget since the decks will be proxies.
I am open yo any ideas, but I dont care much for stax decks.
I want to make this deck a bracket 3 or 4. I’m having issues with card draw and want to consistently have Reaper King out on turn 3. I also want to be able to protect it better. I was originally going for Scarecrow hybrid for flavor but I think Changelings are probably better for this. Let me know your thoughts.
