BDTU Payment (non-EU)

I'm going to pay the first month's rent and deposit fee. However, after entering my card details, I was shocked to see an additional non-EU card fee of 776.36 dkk. Are there any alternative payment methods available for non-EU students? I only have two days left before the payment deadline.

(Edit: Got offer)

Hey guys,
I applied to Autonomous Engineering MSc at the end of January (also MSc EE) and I still have my status as "Assessment in progress", the other one "Received". I know there is a week left until deadline, but I've seen a lot of others get admitted pretty fast (although other majors). Is there anyone here who got admitted already by chance? I'm an EU student.

How hard is it to get in

Is getting into Dtu as a Eu student hard? Like I know there are requirements that some might not fulfill and that disqualifies you, but if you have those is there still a chance they reject you?

I know it's a pretty prestigious school for engineering but couldn't find anything about admission rates

BDTU accommondation

Hello everyone, I was accepted to DTU last week and I have applied for BDTU accommondation that day. How long did you have to wait until you received an offer or response? I am worried that I’ll wait too long and that all other options will be taken. Thanks!

Can I accept AAU while waiting for a DTU waitlist decision?

I was accepted into Aalborg University for an MSc program, but I am currently on the waiting list for my first choice MSc program at DTU.

AAU requires me to accept the offer by June 15, while DTU said they will give waiting list updates around June 8–10.

My question is:

If I accept the AAU offer now, am I still able to later accept DTU if I get admitted from the waiting list? Or does accepting AAU commit me in a way that prevents switching universities later?

I’m mainly worried about timing, housing, and possible financial commitments/deposits.

Has anyone in Denmark or the EU dealt with a similar situation?

I want to be closer to the city of Copenhagen for my semester exchange. Ive read that it’s a 20-40 min commute which doesn’t bother me.
Is this a thing? Will it strain my ability to socialise with dtu students?

Hello!

Im planning my remaining studies, Im on the first semester of my Masters. Im hoping to write my thesis on my third semester, with the same partner as on my Bachelors thesis (as I took a 7th semester on my Bachelors), and then to go on exchange on my 4th. As I understand it, I would have to apply for an early masters thesis (to exceed the max 15 ECTS after thesis), and have 20 ECTS planned for the following semester (in order to meet the 20 ECTS min to go on exchange).

My question is, is this wishful thinking and impossible to achieve/be accepted? Do you know anyone who did something similar? Am I misreading the situation?

I get that this is a question for the study guidance, so sorry in advance, but before I go planning, it'd be nice to know if someone else has had success with something similar.

TIA!!!

EDIT: I forgot to translate the title 😄

Hey everyone!

I am an International student (non-eu) who has been conditionally admitted to the MSc in Autonomous Systems for this September's intake. I am in a somewhat precarious situation regarding housing and would like to ask for help in navigating the same.

I have been told that a one time offer will be made by BDTU for accommodation to almost all non-eu students depending on various factors. Now I filled the application form for the same on BDTU's website and am waiting for such a offer (which will hopefully come) but I had also in the meantime signed up for housing on other websites/portals where they use a waitlist system for the allotments and actually have been made an offer for such a accommodation by "bdk.dk" now here's the catch, I need to either accept or reject the offer b the 7th of May 2026 for this and in a webinar we were told by a DTU MSc admissions officer that BDTU will officially start allotments in May (also mentioned in acknowledgement mail received from BDTU), but IDK if i will be getting a place I like (given that we had to fill in 6 priorities for various accommodation options mandatorily and not all were exactly in my budget or the preferred location) and I believe rejecting any offer made by BDTU will be basically excluding me from receiving any further accommodation offers from them.

So I need help with this situation, has anyone used "bdk.dk" to get an accommodation before and does anyone know how this thing works? As the document shared by them says I am placed '30' on the waitlist and the offer has been sent out to multiple applicants, does this mean that even if I say yes to the offer , I am not guaranteed a place unless others reject it? Also what are my chances of getting an offer from BDTU before the 7th of May? (I did already pay the tuition fees but it was via bank transfer , paid on the 25th of April, with receipt for the same uploaded on DANS by the 28th).

I am kinda struggling with this decision as I do have a pretty short deadline and am not expecting any other non-BDTU organisation offers other than this one (that I somehow got), can anyone who can share their experience or information about bdk please help me decide what to do, IT WILL BE WILDLY APPRECIATED, TRUST ME!

Thanks in Advance to anyone who comments and I would love to hear all your opinions and insights. :)

Hi everyone,

I’m currently taking Quantitative Sustainability and trying to find past exam material to practice with.

I found an older post where someone shared an exam set, but the transfer link has expired. If anyone still has the file, knows where to find it, or can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.

No worries if not , just thought I’d ask here in case someone still has it saved.

Thanks in advance 😄
