Might of ursine limits build variety

Enjoying S13 and all the changes to druid!
Whit that said, I do feel like might of ursine limits build variety. This unique pretty much forces all druid builds down the werebear/rampage ulti path. Which is kind of possible now with the new skill tree as well.

I guess this is what makes druid viable in a sense, so better to have it than not I guess. It just feels a bit sad when you try to theorycraft and always end up with might of ursine/flickerstep/resolve stacking/rampage as your main way to scale damage.

What is your experience? Do you agree? Or am I overreacting?

The Cooldown of GR is too damn high!

Y'all just gonna drop a new DLC and do us like this? Flickerstep or bust? Im so tired of GR builds. Make some other Ultimates as useful as GR. Also ignore the 6 digits lol.

Human LS Build Help

Hey all, I wanted to make a human passive lightning storm build utilizing Hero of the Storm as soon as I saw it.

The build has treated me well, but I am so close to it being a one button build via casting lightning storm at the start and cataclysm off cool down in T12 for a walking simulator. In T12 things die a touch too slow where I need to linger around packs for a second or two and cast stone burst on certain elites to help proc charm damage quicker.

Was looking for insight as it's my first time fully building out a druid mostly via my own testing.

Any no brainer damage multis I'm missing out on that may give me that extra bit of juice?

Thanks!

Druid armory sets never work?

So no matter what I do, clearing out the builds, going naked before trying to equip etc etc, my Druids builds in the armory never let me hit the Equip button.

Did I bug this somehow forever or what? My paladin does not have this issue at all.

staff of the crone sucks

In my opinion they gutted this unique. It was already mediocre but at least it was fun to make meme builds with it. Now with that lame ass 40(x) any two handed weapon with a good damage aspect deals more damage, like significantly more damage. Hell even shard of verathiel+claw deals more damage than this piece of junk.

They should revert it to it's old effect and give it a fat multiplier, otherwise is worthless.

"Base form bonuses" What?

So there is an aspect that increases "base form bonuses" by x% and I am so cluless as to what this really means? In this regard I'm playing human builds, any help?

Also in a similar vein "skills cast in base shapeshifting form" means...what?

Anyone has an Earth Cataclysm Full Build? Build Help / Discussion

I had been theory crafting something that plays with Tectonic Spikes / Earth Cataclysm, basically turning Cat into Earth + Storm skill to receive multiple bonuses from both.

Ended up finding this build here, rank 21 right now on Druid, ModalSoul, at tier 130. It is the highest ranked build that is not Wolf-based. It is quite an interesting build as it uses boards from both natures (thunderstruck + earthearn devastation), it uses Mjonic + Might of the Ursine + Fractured Stone, and also uses Natural balance on the 2H weapon, so basically checks everything I used to like on the old Nature's Fury builds, getting both Earth and Storm to function together.

Plus it uses the OP charm (Old Mountain). While the charm itself can be used by any builds, making cat earth just makes everything easier.

Really interested in such a full build, anyone has one or understands better the concepts behind it, such as how to get overpower (it does use Dominate), why is the boulder there, if ferocity plays a big part in the build or only resolute, and if Cataclysm is the main damage dealer in this build indeed (probably from the gear and setup it is, but I might be missing something).

I haven't played since season 10 so still trying to catchup to all the changes. Thanks!

I'm addicted to Lacerate. Need smarter people to give ideas to help cook build.

So I've been testing out some druid stuff and started this Lacerate build and holy shit, it might be the most fun I've had playing a build in D4.

This is a video of pit 70 (T9). I know, nothing impressive, but I don't think its too bad considering the gear/glyphs I was using during this.

So far its Heir of Perdition, Mad Wolf's Glee, Dark Howl, Malefic Crescent, and Starless Skies. Filled in with some aspects for damage. The only thing I have that are mw'd are the helm, ring, and amulet I was using for other builds.

I'm using the werewolf set charms with Tibault's Will for the unique charm. If I can find a tibault's I might try wearing those and charming Mad Wolf's Glee so I can use Tyrael's or something. I'm also wearing the El'Druin sword which a legendary weapon with a good aspect or maybe a 2h weapon? would be better. I even still have the rabies boots that I need to replace from testing it out with rabies.

The paragon board I'm using is just something I picked up while trying out a tornado build. So most of them aren't leveled or are wrong with not the best boards. I think the biggest weakness atm is that it can be kind of squishy, especially vs ground stuff.

Its like WW Barb but you don't have to hold down WW and you perma pull in mobs. Plus your a Wolf with lightning and shit, lol.

I'm sure in the end it'll still be way weaker than a good WW build but I enjoy this more atm. Any ideas on scaling it, paragon boards, etc would be appreciated. Its a bare bones build atm.

I just unlocked T12 with a bear boulder cataclysm build (P200) and it was a breeze. In T10, my clear speed was pretty much my run speed.

You max boulder and cataclysm as damage sources, then cyclone armor, bulwark and trample (emergency spirit generation). I use Wind Shear as Generator.

Highlights of the build

Extreme mobility and reach: Max movement speed and passive damage in a huge radius that can be cast while running. You pretty much never have to stop.

Semi-perma unstoppable: Malefic Crescent amulet + constant shapeshifting for repeated Blood Howls

Close to 100% crit: Resolve stacking + Boulder mod that gives crit with every resolve (synergizes so well with earth set)

Very tanky: Bear form, resolve stacking + Aspect of Glynn's Anvil, constant Earthen Bulwark through runeword + three defensive skills. I only use one defensive aspect, but I don't have trouble staying alive so far.

Great crowd control: enemies are pretty much perma stunned from earth set bonus

Infinite spirit: permanent cataclysm (earth mod) thanks to Mjolnir ring and cooldown reduction

Fun to play: not having to click on stuff, being able to focus on movement, high damage numbers thanks to earth set bonus, great reach and aoe. You’re basically whirlwinding.

All the buffs & debuffs: Build has constant berserking, resolve, overpower, unstoppable, barrier, fortify, vulnerable, slow, stun, life leech and healing (Blood Howl both)

Notes

Constant shifting: You have to shapeshift about every 4 seconds to keep berserking (from Blood Howl), malefic crescent damage buff, passive werewolf form buffs (shapeshifter aspect), etc. It’s not a big deal though since you have high attack speed and boulders are limited to 5. I simply hold right mouse button for boulder (core skill) while running around and then I weave in left clicks (Werewolf Wind Shear) about every 4 seconds to do this.

Timing buffs: You kinda have to anticipate when Cataclysm will end, because you should prepare and have a full spirit pool when it’s time to recast it (legendary node that gives ultimates +1% damage per spirit)

Flickerstep VS Inner Beast Node: Haven’t found Flickerstep yet so I use Inner beast for cooldown reduction. I constantly shift anyway, but I can’t decide yet which is better.

There is probably still room to improve for this build, but I can create mine in a planner if people are interested.

I was pushing Pit 118 for a Helltides ranking (Hopefully #9) but the Butcher ruined it.

Butcher runs are not allowed.

My glyphs require int for bonus effects and only 1 of my boards have enough int to activate it. What to do?

So Im trying to play a companion/storm human druid, and Im trying to put companion glyphs into summon/nature magic boards, but it seems that I have ony one board that has enough int to activate the glyphs. Any help/suggestions besides just waiting and hoping for better glyphs?

what happened to the different werewolf/bear fur colors?

I remember when d4 first came out that the fur color for the werewolf and bear would be different depending on your hair color choice. I remember making a pretty cool green and black werewolf. But having come back from a long absence I find that my were wolf fur always looks grey/brown regardless of hair color.
