Creality print 7.1 is awesome

Creality print 7.1 is amazing, can paint on fuzzy walls, has a bunch of options. In the petg pic it's a birdhouse, the ceiling has a texture, the inside parts perfectly flat. Also has ironing for supports , did the predator, supports came off super easy. Usually put in fridge and then warm water, his teeth so easy to break. Another setting supposed to increase strength. First night I got to use 7.1, but it's awesome so far!

Bed not sticking at all

Standard k2 with cfs , printed an ABS print earlier and used glue and i cleaned the bed afterwards with soapy water. After that PLA prints don’t stick at all, i cleaned it with IPA 2 times still nothing , i cleaned it with only warm water and after IPA and they still don’t stick. I’m loosing my mind

Getting a K2 standard - What do I need to know?

I'm upgrading from a Voxelab Aquila X2 (big jump i know, I've been out for awhile) and set on the K2. I'd love to get community input on the machine, without the corporate fluff. Like, what are some of the quirks to expect? What are some of the most common problems? etc. Tell me the good, the bad, and the ugly about this printer after purchase. I'd really love to know what to expect diving into things.

TIA

Orca slicer 502 error

Any one have any ideas on how to resolve this error when trying to upload from orca slicer? It’s happening with two k2 plus machines both set up with identical k2 improvements firmware and cartographer set ups.

Tested with both a 309mb file and a 257mb file. Ironically the 257mb file had no problem transferring and printing last week

Should also mention I have tried a hard reboot of both printers as well as clearing out the stored gcode files

Filament run out, not home

Pretty simple, I started a stupid long print (57 hours). I had it set to change colors but for some reason, it did not, so it ran out of the only color it was using. Im out of town and am ok with having the print finish with a different color (from CFS). Is there anyway to have it change what spool it is using remotely? Im out of town for another week.

Flow rate question

Did a new flow rate calibration. as I'm entering the new rate I wondered.....is the first and last layer flow rate a % of the value I enter? or absolute?

for example, if my tested flow rate is .94 and I have 1.03 for the first layer.....is that 103% of .94 or is it 1.03 absolutely, so .09 more than the tested value?

Nozzle too close when priming?

Hey all,

I'm slicing my prints in Orca and uploading them through CrealityPrint and have run into a weird issue - during the nozzle priming line the nozzle is too close to the plate and is grinding against it. While printing, everything is great. First layer is fantastic and no other issues while printing.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Thanks!
