Is there like a place where I can dump any extra flex dollars?
Like is there a place on campus where I can just leave a huge tip or something? Id rather not waste it.

How did you guys feel about that exam.
Personally think i really dropped the ball.
Hi
I’m looking to come to Concordia University in engineering, but I have a baccalauréat français and I saw that I may do an extended credit program. So I tried to contact the recruiter, who gave me a link where they say that if I have a grade of 12 or higher in my specialty in terminale, I can have a 12 to 24 credits exemption.
I lost my calculator that was approved by the department.
How strict are they about enforcing the sticker on a calculator? I only have a calculator that is NOT on the list but I can’t graph on it or anything suspicious. Don’t really want to spend money on another calculator. Am I cooked or should I get one?
Thoughts on the final? I found it not bad as its very repetitive with the same ideas
my brain is going all over the place and I think I might fail everything I’m scared asf
I’m still not sure where to go. I know mcgill is more internationally renowned but i heard concordia has a better environment overall. Does anyone have any feedback or tips on how to choose? (Also posted this on the mcgill subreddit)
Im doing elec 321 final exam tomorrow. For those who did it wednesday how was the exam ? Was it like the assignement ?
I've had 2 hours of tutoring for math 209 since the 11th and I've spent the past two days crying and how unprepared I feel. I never skipped a class and always stayed engaged too. Is anyone else struggling with the course because I don't know what else I could've done. Honestly I don't even think I can write it with this attitude.
When are the grades coming out?!?!? I need those results yesterday
I had classes during high school almost almost exactly like MATH203, PHYS204 and CHEM205 down to the name of the class, but no mention of their exemption on the admission letter so I thought maybe I could get 30 credits on the first year, taking into account I already know a good chunk of first term courses and need to get 150 credits in total.
I just dont know if it would be recommended and, if it is, what courses would be good.
Edit *dont have
Hey guys i lost my purse which had my student ID and hadn’t had the time to get a new one
My final is this Monday 9am at ACSD
Is it true that I can bring a medical card or a passport, and they can consider it?
Super grateful for any help 🙏
Did anyone just do the math 209 exam? If you did, did you also find the long answers really hard?
Can we report them for being bad at their jobs? Like bro why are you grading exams of classes you TA while I take my own exam? Do you have to make this loud sound getting your paper in and out of this envelop and turning pages for 4 hours straight?!
It’s not like half of the students in the room are there because of learning disabilities and sensory issues and that you probably making it worse for them to concentrate…
Also aren’t you getting paid to watch us do the exam? Why you also grade your own exam at the same time?
This was my last exam at Concordia but seriously, why isn’t ACSD training them not to be assholes?
That’s it. That’s my rant. Good luck for those of you staying in that university and I hope it gets better.
I don’t know if it was because Matthew prepared us so well but I felt like that exam wasn’t bad at all? What did you guys think?
How did everyone do? A bit shocked personally…
I knew this class was going to be hard, but nobody warned me HOW hard. This class literally gave me PTSD from Math 209. I’m honestly making this post for anyone planning to take COMM 221 next semester: please do not underestimate this class. You cannot survive by trying to study everything in the last month while balancing your other finals. Forget it. This is the kind of class where you need to practice every single week and actually get comfortable with the concepts as you go. And mind you I bought Checkmark for the weeklies and mock exams, and don’t get me wrong tutorials explained things well and all but I think my biggest mistake was not doing enough consistent practice on my own. This class is all about repetition. They make it sound easier by saying the final is “only 20 multiple choice, plus 3 long questions” but those multiple choice questions are full of traps. Half of them aren’t just one simple calculation—they take multiple steps, and if you get stuck on one part, you lose so much time. And the long answer questions? Don’t even get me started. Yes, the teacher gave us an idea of which concepts to focus on, but the actual questions can vary so much. There are so many different ways they can ask the same topic, and that’s what makes it so brutal. I’m genuinely shocked at how unnecessarily hard this class is. How did everyone else feel about the final? Was it just me, or was that exam absolutely insane?
