Dropping Interview at Christ

Okay. so i did apply to christ not so long ago and had my ET yesterday and gonna have my SA,MP and interview this friday..
Lowkey in 9th grade when i had interest in psychology and researched on the best colleges on it, Christ stood out in those google search and It was my dream college back then... till around december when i went for my round one but got rejected.. the panel was so disrespectful, they mocked me and rubbing their forehead like im wasting their time? and also asking irrelavent questions. though i did get into Delhi NCR campus, i rejected it.

For my parents sake and i did have a little hope so i applied for 2nd round, but now my interest is totally gone seeing all the other reviews on reddit and talking with a few seniors from there. I had a hell of a strict school life and i did not want to have that for my college as well.

My parents saw it in my face today that I was so down and uninterested to travel to banglore to attend the interview, and told me i can drop it, but heres the thing im someone who only does this stuff for her parents, just to see them smile and be proud of me, and overall i care too much about their emotions more than mine. I had a bit of releif when they told me i dont have to attend the interview but, they spent the money for it and i feel bad.

I mean i feel extremely relieved and i have back up unis which i already got into. but do you think its worth that i dropped this? do you think i would have any regrets not attending it? (mostly even if i do get in, i am not planning to join it, but just for my parents to have hopes of choosing my own college i felt like doing it.)

technical issue during the entrance test which did not allow me to write it

hey guys i was supposed to give the entrance test yesterday from 6:30pm till 8 but it did not allow me to due to a technical issue and kept logging me out and asking me to force quit an application on my laptop even though it was already removed, i tried multiple times from 6pm all the way till 6:40pm which was the last time to enter the test, but it did not allow me to, im really disappointed and unsure what to do, ive sent an email to 3 different christ emails asking on what to do, ive called them multiple times and i still have no response from them whatsoever, can anyone tell me what to do and if there’s any contact anybody has who i can call regarding this please help me out, thank you have a nice day.

(NRI applicant) Confused whether I should appear for the online interview scheduled tmrw or for the offline interview at the venue in my admit card

I am currently residing in India but since i wrote my 12th board abroad (Bahrain) I was considered an NRI and had to pay the NRI fee for application (9k rs apprx). Gave my ET yesterday and today i abruptly received an email with a google meet link for an interview scheduled for tmrw. Now idk whether i should appear at the mentioned venue and date in my admit card or online tmrw or both. Tried reaching out to admission but cant get through. btw does NRI fee apply only for the 1st yr or for the entire course? thanks

Chances of getting into Christ University for BSc Psychology?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to apply to Christ University for BSc Psychology and wanted some honest opinions about my chances.

Here’s my profile:

21 years old

Completed Diploma in Food Production (Hotel Management)

Completed Diploma in Filmmaking

Currently running 2 food businesses (entrepreneur)

Did not have Psychology in 11th/12th

Previously started MBBS but discontinued

I’m really interested in psychology now and willing to prepare seriously for the entrance and interview.

Do you think my profile is strong enough?

What matters more — entrance score or interview?

Any tips to improve my chances?

Thanks in advance 🙏

ET RESCHEDULED FOR 8TH APRIL AND MP PI AS ONLINE

I was unable to attend the entrance test scheduled on April 6th. I had informed them through mail, and I received a response stating that the test had been rescheduled to April 8th.

Additionally, I was informed that the MP, PI, and AS rounds would also be conducted online. As per the schedule, the MP, PI, and AS are set for 3:00 PM IST, and the entrance test is scheduled for 7:00 PM IST.

I would like to clarify whether my absence from the original test will affect my chances of selection. I would also appreciate guidance on whether I will be asked to explain my absence during the interview rounds.

Furthermore, I would be grateful for any advice on how to prepare for the MP and PI rounds.

Clarification on cheating in ET

Have seen a lot of posts regarding cheating and stuff so here’s my honest opinion on it: In the modern times technology has become really superior & humans have adjusted to its nuances so some those who partly cheated might have a way out but those who cheated A-Z will not benefit in the long run. And yes, Christ does not care about your ET honestly, they only do when you score on the extremes like either 30-40 or 115-120. Anything in between is a safe score and yes during interview they see how well your ET scores, 10th/12th grades and what you’re speaking in the interview align with each other because at the end of the day just because a student has scored good, cannot mean that they have cheated there’s no proof to it. And just think about it: if they did care about the ET, they’d have literally conducted it offline only. So you all, just move past it & focus on the interview because that’s a game changer. Good luck!

I have an Online interview is that normal for Christ?

When the admit cards came out originally, my interview was scheduled in the central campus on the 12th at 2 which is a Sunday, and today I got an email saying that my interview is online and is tomorrow at 2. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Interview changed to Online

I had opted for offline interview at Kochi, but received an email today saying it had been changed to online.

Did anyone else receive the same email, and why did this happen?

ET

hey guys :) my exam is at 6:30. Just thought I would share some tips about the procedure beforehand.

  1. Keep your id proof (eg. aadhaar card), printout of admit card, a blank paper for rough work, and a couple of pens at hand.

  2. There's no specific dress code, but it's preferable to wear any plain shirt/tshirt.

  3. Earphones/headphones are not allowed.

  4. Lock the room in which you are giving the exam, and make sure you tell your family members not to knock or speak loudly, as the software picks up noise from your surroundings as well.

  5. Make sure your device is compatible with the software (you must have gotten a guide for that on your email)

  6. Eat something and hydrate before the exam, you won't be able to do all of that during the exam, as the software may pick it up as suspicious activity. Also use the bathroom beforehand.

  7. Just chill out! ET scores don't matter much, and LRDI and English are fairly easy. Basic interpretation skills hai toj ho jayega :)

All the best everyone!🧿
