They have not informed the parents of this yet, but it is happening on Friday. It is a mandatory assembly.

The principal is not following Board policy about notifying parents about political events. The administration is ignoring the concerns of the teachers, who are universally opposed to this assembly.

Any suggestions for a first date in the area?

Trying to veer off the “hey let’s grab a drink” scenario. Not wanting to “hike” per se… however I stumbled upon the Chino Creek wetlands so we could take a stroll and have our first in person chat maybe. Of course open to eating or drinking after. TYIA

Hello people of Chino Hills!

My name is Chris, and I play in a new band called Great Demise with my best friend Jake and feature his brother Cole at live shows. We all grew up and went to school here, and now we proudly write, record, and produce all of our own alternative rock/punk music in this city. If you like bands like Green Day, Nirvana, or Foo Fighters You’ll probably find something you like with us!

Promoting a music project is very difficult and we are doing everything we can to be heard by locals who enjoy rock music. Some of our songs are explicit, but we do bring a very high and fun energy and play a lot of live shows locally. This is a link directly to our Spotify. Feel free to listen and give feedback. We hope you find something you enjoy!

Hello I consider myself be be quiet sensitive to the paranormal to some degree. I noticed whenever I am in chino specifically around Benson and beyond. I have sensed a women screaming all the time. After a while it gets really annoying. I am just wondering if any other intuitive people have experienced the same thing. It's always around the same area. I don't experience this phenomenon anywhere else. Just looking to share some spooky encounters I guess.

So my family and I moved to the area a little over 2 years ago because the schools are good, and it’s a safe area, but it is so boring here. I’ve tried everything, from joining church, workout groups, you name it, and it’s just not for me. It takes forever to get anywhere and there’s not much activity happening here and I feel isolated and lonely. Even the parks are empty. I came from a beach area where it was lively, and I just can’t get used to living here. Sorry for my rant..

Found 4 Rescue Kittens Looking for Loving Indoor Homes – Chino Hills, CA ❤️🐾

About a month ago, a stray mama cat brought her kittens to my home, and I’ve been caring for them ever since. The kittens are now around 8 weeks old, healthy, playful, and very sweet. They’ve been eating wet food and are becoming more comfortable with people every day. 😊
I’m trying very hard to make sure they go to safe, loving, responsible homes. Because of that, I do have a few adoption requirements:
• Indoor-only homes
• Your home/apartment must allow cats
• Must be willing to provide future vet care, vaccines, and spay/neuter
• If you can no longer keep the kitten in the future, I ask that you contact me first instead of surrendering or rehoming them
• I’d also appreciate occasional photo updates during the first few months ❤️
There will be a small $50 adoption fee to help ensure serious adopters only. If after 3 months the kitten is confirmed safe, healthy, and doing well, I will gladly refund the fee.
Please message me if you’re seriously interested and tell me a little about yourself and the home you can provide.

Filing a Police Report

Hi neighbors,
I woke up this morning and found that my car appeared to be rummaged through - everything in my console and glovebox was on the seats of the car. Thankfully I don't keep anything important in my car (no cash, garage door opener, etc.) and I'm almost 100% certain nothing was taken. There were no visible signs of a break in and I'm pretty sure I accidentally left my car unlocked, so it was probably opportunistic.

I'm assuming I should still file a police report, but I had to leave town so I'm unsure if I should wait until I come back to file in person? The last time I called in to file a report they dispatched an officer to my location to take it down.

Any advice is appreciated!

I have a 2014 Ford Focus that runs, but it has major transmission issues so it’s not really drivable. I’m trying to get rid of it, but selling it has been tough because of the condition.

Does anyone know if the city offers any kind of program to take old cars? I’ve heard Anaheim will tow your car and give you some cash, so I’m hoping there’s something similar around here.

Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks!
