After some reflection, I realised that I have a lack of social interaction, many ends up js drifting cause of diff paths or nothing much in common so I'm here to hopefully forge some new friendships tht can last.

Some facts about me:

- Introvert but i don't mind initiating or making convo (i rlly do try my best here 😭)

- I like gaming (video games / board games, wouldn't say I'm exceptionally good at it though HAHA)

- Wants to get into volunteering :((

- If uw to try out new foods / cafes

- Screwed sleep schedule as you can tell from this post (its 3.40am)

Tldr: Graduated, unemployed with free time and have no idea on how to make new friends so trying my luck on reddit \o/

Both of us work full-time and weekends are packed with errands, family, and just resting.

We know we should get at least 3–4 renovation quotes, but even arranging one consultation means travelling to a showroom, spending 1–2 hours, then waiting a week for a proposal. Multiply that by 4 firms and that’s basically a month of weekends gone.
Is there any realistic way to see maybe 5–7 different portfolios and rough pricing in a single day? Or is that just not how the industry works?

I really need practical advice from other busy homeowners.

Not a local here and honestly feeling a bit bored in Singapore at the moment. Currently unemployed and just hoping to meet some chill people to chat about life.

preferably ard north to north east area but flexible. looking for someone to practice badminton drills with. e.g smashing, back hand, 6 point etc. if we are of similar level dun mind being sparring partners as well. if ure interested but dk any drills is ok too, as long as u can feed the shuttle decently accurately it will be gd enuf. can improve together.

using telegram grp standards i play ard HB+ to LI- levels. 26M here, just trying to get gd at badminton again haha.

I am trying to create and garner people who have interest and trying to create another group, similar to the one I made before for ExtroIntrovertSG but this time with a narrower interest in mind for now, for hobbies and for this post I will solely be focusing on one sport which I really enjoy and made countless posts for.

and that is of badminton!!

I have done q few meetups from here to meet Redditors for badminton and well there were skill gaps here and there, overall it was really a cool way to meet new people through bonding with a love for the sport!

for anyone who has met me up, I know u are reading this! and my most recent meetup with one of the redditors let me shed light that actually we could make this a regular thing for people with true passion for the game and wish to improve and meet people!

Naturally, coming for games will incur some cost involved but we want to make it a community for people to grow/develop and foster bonds with other like minded people who share the same love for badminton 🏸 !

Me & the other redditor's idea is to filter out and sort people' skill level accordingly assuming we get enough people to join this community, probably on telegram.

but we figure we want to reach out to people who are really ready to commit to usual sessions with us and not a stand alone one time thing

it is purely a place like other interest groups in some regard but we try to make it more wholesome I guess by guiding a little / teaching a bit on how to play this game that we so love called badminton!

1. passion and love for badminton

2. no age limit, but preferably 20-40

3. no skill level required but best if have some experience, if u dont have any? Don't worry! no judgement here and pls dont be scared away as long as u have love and want to improve, we will welcome u 😊 !!

Hihi! Im a student studying in uni in sg, I’ve always wanted to own a motorcycle and especially wanted to ride to school and use it as my own personal transportation. I really wanted to buy a new coe and a new bike but when I went to bid for the coe this week, the coe jumped to $10k right in front of my eyes. I was so shocked that the price was so high and I asked myself if I could afford a $10k paper not even including the bike. Obviously I didn’t bid higher…

Do let me know if there are any kind souls who are willing to sell your bike to a student for cheap. And please I am genuinely not a scalper or reseller…but yea transport from Sengkang to NTU is nuts if I have to travel daily😭😭. And also Plspls don’t try to cheat me of the little amount of money I have as a student 😭😭 hopefully no one sells me a bike that breaks down after 10km of usage

And also ngl I’m not looking to get a sports bike because I don’t wanna die but if there is anyone that are willing to sell it at a discount price maybe I’ll think about it but you know beggars can’t be choosers especially in this country

I found it difficuit for scouting for collaborators in the SG space because of the nature which I need vocalist who is in the Convention scene but some of my friends say they only like hobbyist when I want to make it to a full time career especially im going for a 2nd music study right now... its difficuit to find a match especially when im also rebranding my artist name to fit my new direction of J-Pop/Anisong Compositions/genre fusion of other styles into one...

Realised most of my friendships kinda… faded out once the “context” ended (school, uni, etc). Like no bad blood, we just stopped talking when it wasn’t convenient anymore 😅

I’m working full-time now, and I guess it’s a bit harder to meet people organically. Also a minority race (just throwing it in for the lols in case anyone cares HAHA)

I stay in the east and I’m pretty low maintenance – main hobbies include laughing at nonsense, talking crap, baking random things, going on walks, and finding people to run errands with (everything is better with company right??). Also love the occasional deep “what are we doing with our lives” kinda conversations.

Also just to put it out there – I’m attached, so not looking for anything romantic! Just genuine friendships (if I’m lucky enough la) maybe hang out if it feels right. If you also feel like adult friendships are weirdly hard to build… hi 🥲

i dont know if this is the right place to post this, but im looking for opinions from fellow riders. I live in Punggol area and i use the bicyle connecters alot to ride my bicyle with my son on the back. we love to go to playgrounds on bicycle using the park connector. i already have a Ebike that i use to go to work using the park connector and road. i sometimes use it to go to places with my wife as a pillion rider.

i realised i cant have a child seat mounted onto my Ebike as i cant have a kid under 16 on Ebike. so i thought of buying a Escooter which can carry my 4 year old son. Im a tall person and i do find most of the escooters short.

i managed to find 2 escooters that are actually nice but confused to choose which. They are the MOBOT OLLI Drive S1 and the MOBOT HALO Drive S2. My wife wants to be the pillion and she thinks the Olli S1 is a better choice. i prefer the Halo S2 but she feels like she cant sit on it , and she feels like it looks dangerous to keep my kid on it.

Does any of you guys own any of these 2 Ebikes? Which one is a better option ? And pls dont recommend me illegal ones, i dont wanna end up paying fines. Thanks in advance.
