23 M finding difficuities

I found it difficuit for scouting for collaborators in the SG space because of the nature which I need vocalist who is in the Convention scene but some of my friends say they only like hobbyist when I want to make it to a full time career especially im going for a 2nd music study right now... its difficuit to find a match especially when im also rebranding my artist name to fit my new direction of J-Pop/Anisong Compositions/genre fusion of other styles into one...

would gladly apperciate some thoughts or dms as im feeling slightly down

What is usually taught on pop piano in colleges?

I'm starting my music college in August 2026 with a pop route focus. would it be right to say that I would be learning how to read lead sheets, how to voice chords and improvise on the spot?

what other skills that I would learn like how to gel with a band?

I'm a Composer/ Producer and Pianist with room to grow from intermediate [Grade 5 ABRSM]. for context
