I remember this tragedy. They only played until the 4th inning on 8/8/88, leading to a different piece of trivia for the first *completed* night game on 8/9/88.

So glad I decided to cut school this day and sit in the bleachers! I’ve been at Wrigley for several historic moments and this was definitely a fun one.

Here is an original bleacher bums membership card. Far as I know only 20 metal cards were made back in the 70’s I also have some honorary membership cards as well. The only other metal card example I’ve seen is in Wrigley in a display.
