Name of these wheels?
Just wondering if anyone knows this specific wheel. Maybe it’s aftermarket, but I think i’ve seen a few stock looking xj’s with steelies like these?

Replaced my lower control arms a few days ago. Doing my uppers and track bar soon.
Got a new 0331 head from Clearwater
Found this imperfection.
Slap it on or send it back?
Does your XJ hesitate and is weak to start? Do you hear crackling beneath your hood when turning over the engine? You my friend need a new starter.
This is a Max two beer job, and that’s if your a liquor hound like myself.
I just picked up this Cherokee and this is the frame rail (and part of the floor as you can see). Can this be fixed? It runs and drives. The passenger side floor pan is also non-existent (Second pic).
Was talking to my wife about the coming E15 summer and she topped my concern off with the possibility of fuel shortages in general. She has a modern car I can drive around during the week but if it’s come July and all I can find is E15 then I’m royally screwed.
There are some cheap back country stations that sell regular fuel with no ethanol added so I’m weighing the options of possibly accumulating a summer stock, as well as getting a Jerry can for emergencies. Last thing I want is for E15 to drag on into the Fall.
Are any of you gonna stock up or are most of you not really worried at all? Both my dailies are my 93 XJ and a 92 Volvo so..
I have a 92 4x4 XJ with an automatic transmission and a 4.0. it's been parked for about 3 weeks in the garage. Today I took it out to replace the cooling system and noticed a massive puddle under the transmission. Definitely not the rear main seal, that was a different separate puddle up front that I've already replaced twice and still has a minor leak.
I'm quite mechanically inclined for everything engine related but a tranny is something I never really have touched. Looking at the pic you can see that there is a rubber hose that fits really loose and it seems that's where the leak came from. Without knowing better, it almost looks like it's the dipstick tube. Attaching photos so you guys can help me for drought if that's the location of the leak and if so what needs to be replaced.
Quick update. Definitely not where the dipstick goes as that's on the passenger side and the photo I took is on the driver side.
Also, my tranny is dry -; no oil is measurable on the dipstick
No extreme lifter tick when running. I pulled the valve cover and could feel it through the rocker arm, I just put in new pushrods and reinstalled the rockers after getting the head rebuilt. I followed the proper procedure for rocker arm re-installation as far as I’m aware
Went wheeling at and around the beach this past weekend and now I have this weird chatter noise. Could it be related to me driving through some very large rainwater puddles?
When I say throttle dependent I mean it only chatters when I’m on the throttle. No matter the speed if I’m coasting there is no chatter.
Btw it’s a 2000 Cherokee with L6
My 97 4.0/AW4 is killing me.
Died driving in the rain, replaced cps and still stuck with crank/no start. Shop found a blown fuse, didn't specify which but the PCM/Fuel pump (15A blue) fuse looked cleanest so likely that one, I think.
Didn't really drive it for two weeks because it was in the shop then raining all of last week and I was anxious to drive it in the rain again. Go to start it at the end of last week (Friday) and it was dead. Saturday I started it with a jump pack and it ran without issue for 20 minutes as I kept the RPMs a little over 1k to hopefully charge the battery.
Go to start it and drive to work this morning and it was fully dead. Not just no crank but no anything electrical. I assumed the battery was damaged by the amount of times it was running the starter when dealing with the previous crank/no start, plus it's a few years old. Buy a new battery on the way home and get it in and hooked up. Turn the key to accessory and nothing, turn the key to start and nothing. No open door alarm, no dome lights on, no gages working on the dash, straight up nothing. I went so far as to hook up my jump pack and that *did* get the dome lights and dash to work but when I turned the key to start there was a faint click and everything went dead again. If I turned it off and took out the key, upon reinsertion the small electronics would work again, but attempting to start was just another click and it all died again.
I love my jeep dearly but this is absolutely fucking killing me. It's my only car so I've been stuck borrowing my dad's shitty truck while he's out of town but I can't keep doing that forever. I don't know what's causing this, it's never done anything like this before.
im lost here... pretty new K Suspension injectors, new plugs and cap/rotor with cables at the same time as the injectors. this thing is giving me a hell of a time.
Hey everyone, just need some confirmation here. I tested spark plugs, no spark. I tested fuel pressure, got around 38psi upon cold start.
I also went around the car and followed Cruisers 1st ground too. Mostly addressed the battery ground to the body of the car (found with no nut), the engine block grounds by the dipstick, and then the other engine block braided ground by the firewall.
Am I correct to now test the CPS for ohms and determine if the sensor is dead?
Thank you!
Does anyone know if there is a replacement for this connector or the pins that go in it? Mines pretty corroded and one wire already popped out. I suspect if I keep fiddling with it more will pop too. And does anyone know a good way to work on this connector without ripping the whole dash out? This is one of the worst places to repair a connector because there is zero slack in this harness.
If there are no replacement parts for this what's the solution?
This stuff is tough. So far I have been removing it with an angle grinder with a wire brush attachment. Gets the job done, but you also have debris all over the place. Any advice and/or an effective chemical perhaps?
