Hello po, good afternoon. (04/26)

This is Tofu’s Day 6 of confinement po due to FLUTD. His vet confirmed that he has UTI.

He is currently still on catheter. According to his vet, they plan to remove the catheter once his urine is clear and also to monitor if makakaihi si Tofu on his own po.

Good news po that Tofu’s urine is improving as per his vet po.

There is a concern about a possible urinary fistula (a fistula is an abnormal/irregular opening where urine shouldn’t normally pass), so if a urinary blockage returns again, surgery may be needed 😔

Tofu’s current condition:

• Remains to have a good appetite and still responsive

• Normal Temperature

• Urine improving (almost no longer bloody)

• Still on catheter

Running Bills:

April 21: ₱3,385

April 22: ₱4,395

April 23: ₱2,595

April 24: ₱2,810

April 25: ₱3,335

———————Total Amount (April 21-25)= ₱16,520 and still increasing habang naka confine pa po siya.

*Note: Yung ₱2500 na Security Deposit ko pa po will be deducted pa po sa Final Bill.

Any amount would mean so much to us, even ₱1 ay sobrang malaking tulong na sa amin ni Tofu ko.

Hi everyone, I’ve never had a cat before and I don’t really know what they’re supposed to look like. Here’s a picture of my cat. She’s 7 1/2 months old. I feed her around 300 cal a day. Is she fat? Her last vet appointment was a few months ago and she hasn’t had any issues since then so I haven’t seen a need to bring her to a vet and ask, but I want to make sure she’s healthy.

Found this cat today when I was about to buy meryenda. I immediately told my bf to bring a cage para marescue after work. Ngayon on the way na kami sa Biyaya para mapacheck siya. Anyone who wants to adopt him? I have 13 cats and 2 dogs na kasi

I would like to give an update po regarding Tofu’s condition, your donations, and running bills, as I previously posted here.

To give a recap on my previous post, Tofu’s currently suffering from Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) and has a bloody urine due to active infection. This is Tofu’s 4th day of confinement at the vet clinic.

Update:

As of April 25, Tofu is already showing a good appetite and is eating well on his own. His drinking water voluntarily and remains responsive po. Although his urine is slightly bloody po (wasn’t able to picture during my visitation earlier), it is currently being monitored through the catheter. His vet advised me that Tofu’s urine will continue to be observed until it becomes clearer. Hence, Tofu remains confined at the clinic with a catheter in place, undergoing continuous monitoring and treatment.

hi! need some advice, my 5 month old cat has a bald spot on her chin. should i be concerned and take her to the vet immediately??

May nakapagtry na ba dito ng Mr. DIY bentonite litter sand? Aromatic kasi talaga gamit ko sa cats ko kaso napatagal yung delivery nung order ko, wala rin nagtitinda ng aromatic sa mga physical stores malapit samin. So wala na kong choice at nilabas ko na yung litter sand na binili ng kapatid ko from Mr. DIY, hesitant lang ako gamitin since hindi ko pa natry at wala rin akong mahanap na reviews kung maganda and safe ba siya. May nakapagtry na ba nito? Please do share your experience. Thank you!

Hi everyone. I’m reaching out again to ask for help for our cat. Last week, she came home with a badly injured mouth and medyo na-deform na. We brought her to the vet yesterday, and they said it may have been caused by being hit orkicked.

Right now, she can barely eat, halos konti na lang. She urgently needs surgery so she can heal, and eat properly again.

We’re doing everything we can, pero hindi namin inaasahan yung ganitong situation. Any support would mean so much to us. So far we dont have yet budget for surgery.

I would like to humbly ask for help for my cat, Tofu, who’s currently confined.

Tofu was diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) which is life-threatening. This is already the 2nd time (April 21) that he was rushed to the vet clinic dito sa Parañaque. He’s been experiencing classic symptoms of FLUTD, may straining po siya at sobrang hirap po sya umihi since merong urinary blockage po ulit. Upon examination, may bloody urine na sya, mataas ang WBC (w/.infection), alarmingly high Creatinine at CK (3x the ref. range) which puts his kidneys at serious risk.

I understand that being a fur parent takes a lot of effort—physically, mentally, emotionally, and especially financially. Oo, financially straining siya pag nagkasakit ang mga fur pets natin.

I’m reaching out through social media to raise funds for my Tofu’s ongoing treatment and confinement. Any amount would mean so much to us. Malaking bagay na po samin ni Tofu kahit piso lang po yan. Humbly asking po for your help po para lang makarecover/survive si Tofu po.

Hello po! Seeking advice 😁

I have a 1 year old (Almost 2) who has idiopathic epilepsy and last week, during one of his seizures, fell and chipped his fang.

I only noticed it this morning when I was brushing his teeth. Other than that kasi, he's been eating normally and no obvious behavior or symptomatic differences (?) I tried pressing on his tooth and he doesn't act like he's in pain or uncomfortable naman.

Upon checking his fang close-up, wala naman ako nakikitang pink or blank dot that suggests na exposed yung pulp that Google points out.

I'm short on finances because I'm funding his seizure medications from my allowance :( Should I take him to the vet ASAP?
