Stampede crew? 29F looking for fun people to go with 🤠

Hey everyone! 🤠✨

I’m looking for some fun people to hit up Stampede/Calgary with this year! I was originally supposed to go with my ex, but we broke up so I’m still going, just switching up the vibe a bit.

I’m 29F, recently single, and honestly just excited to get out, have fun, and make some great memories. Most of my friends are busy with work or have their own families and kids now, so it’s hard for them to take time off or commit to a trip like this and I’m definitely not ready to skip out on the fun yet 🎡🍻

If you’re in a similar boat or just want to add another fun person to your crew, message me! Let’s make it a weekend to remember 🤍

P.S - Im not from Calgary but will be going there for Stampede

I beat cancer and passed NCLEX, but still can’t get hired as an RN in Calgary — any advice?

Hi everyone,

I moved to Canada about 2 years ago. I was a nurse in my home country for 18 years, with experience in ICU, dialysis, ER, and cardiac care.

After arriving, I planned to write the NCLEX, but I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months later and went through about 7 months of treatment. During that time, I still studied and successfully passed my NCLEX.

Now I’m fully ready to work and currently registered in Alberta, but I’ve been struggling to get an RN job in Calgary. I’ve applied multiple times through Alberta Health Services, but haven’t had any success so far.

Right now, my goal is to at least start with a casual RN position and gain Canadian experience.

My main question is:
If I can’t seem to get into AHS, how can I realistically start a casual RN job in Calgary?

  • Are there agencies that hire new RNs without Canadian experience?
  • Should I focus on long-term care or private clinics first?
  • Is there a better strategy than just applying online?

I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thank you 🙏

Just moved to Calgary, looking to meet people and explore the city

23M, just moved to Calgary from Saskatchewan.

Looking to meet new people and build a solid social circle here.

Into going out, clubbing, food spots (big foodie), gaming, and being outdoors. Down to explore the city and try new things.

Confident, social, and just looking to meet cool people (mostly girls but open to good vibes all around). Not rushing anything — just seeing what clicks naturally.

If you’re in Calgary and on a similar vibe, feel free to reach out 🙂

Looking for marketing networking events in Calgary

I am looking for marketing events in Calgary for networking purposes for my team to attend. They need to be in-person and not conferences or panels, and they have to be specifically for marketing. Please let me know if you know any! My company doesn't have a budget (that I know of).
