Hey Y'all, happy spring 🍃. I'm writing a thesis comparing food attitudes with social media habits and looking for data in the field in the form of this survey. It would be so helpful if any of you reading have a minute and would be able to fill it out! 🙏 Many thanks and All responses much obliged 🫡🫡🫡
Oh and happy to post back here with the results once data collection is complete
Just wondering if anyone’s professors have reached out to their students. Considering next week is finals and people like myself (and I’m sure others) have had assignments due this sat/sun.
Curious how this is all going to play out if we can’t take our finals or turn in any assignments.
Others schools seem to have it up again but def wouldn’t trust that rn. Since our IT just sent out an email 45 min ago saying it’s going to remain down for rn
Heading to Chico state in the fall!
What is the community/vibe like in lavender living? Is it chill? Is there a lot of drama? Quiet? Loud? What would you say?
I’m aroace, and would say I’m pretty ambiverted. I hope I’ll be able to make friends here! :)
I’m looking to find what the shoe requirements are specifically for the Chico state nursing program! Just got accepted to start this fall (whoo!) but have zero information on what shoes to get (got the email with the packet but nothing about shoes) I know they’ll probably tell me later but I’d like to start looking now! Color? Material? I have a pair of very light blue hokas but unfortunately not leather and I’m not sure if that’s a requirement for clinicals. If a current or past nursing student can chime in, please let me know!
Hey everyone, I'm transferring from Shasta College to Chico State this Fall, and I'm wondering if anyone here has an idea as to when the on-campus work study jobs for the Fall semester get posted to Handshake? Right now I don't see anything, and being able to continue doing work study at Chico would really help me. I know at Shasta they generally post them around this time, so I just wanna make sure I don't miss my chance to apply or anything like that, cheers.
Looking for someone to take over this lease.
Good afternoon, Chico Reddit. My mom recently leased an apartment for my little sister in Chico to start on August 15th 2026 and ongoing until July 31st of 2027. This was when my little sister was accepted into Chico State. The issue is that my mom has recently been diagnosed with a sarcoma. She is the breadwinner between my parents and her having to take a step back from working limits the ability she'll have to assist my sister. We tried talking with the complex in order to have them place the apartment back on the market but that's a no go. That being said we're looking for someone who would want to take over this lease so here's some info on the apartment and I hope we meet someone who wants it.

I’m visiting Chico, are there any recommendations in terms of must see or places that are local, but are a must try if in the area?
Is anybody open to hanging out?
Hey all! I recently built a a workout tracking app called Fortis: Workout Log & Tracker and am looking for Cincinnati students to try it out and give me honest feedback. It's kind of like Strava but for the gym. You can log workouts, track progress over time, build custom exercises and templates, and share progress with friends on the app.
Still early but I think it's genuinely useful if you're trying to stay consistent.
Free on iOS and Android. Would love any feedback, good or bad, if you give it a shot.
Worried about failing an A-G class my senior year or HS, will they rescind my offer?
Hello everyone, I got admitted to CSU Chico last October and plan on starting next fall. I sorta dropped the ball this semester and have been playing catch up for the last month. Despite my best efforts, a few weeks from graduation I'm worried I might fail second semester English. Will they rescind my offer for failing to get a C- or above in this class? If I fail to meet the requirements, can I still finish the class over summer and start Chico in the fall? Just wondering if anyone's had any experience with the transition period.
Thanks 🙏.
