Is this safe? Does anybody know what this is - 2015 Toyota Camry
Obviously I know i have to bring it in at some point, it happens when i go over 65 I am jus so busy with work- work 2 jobs and can’t afford this right now
Ive showed a bunch of people they said they have never heard of anything like it
I think its my steering wheel it feels like it’s shaking
Good day lads. I need suggestions for some performance modifications.
Hey so I'm the owner of this clean AF mint condition bone stock E11 sedan. It currently has the 1.3 4E-FE In it with 72.5k original kilometres. (For our fellows in America it means it's too little. almost brand new considering it's a 27 year old car) And I was wondering if modifying the original engine was worth it or getting a different engine such as the 4E-FTE which was pretty much the same engine and found in the Starlet Glanza V with a turbo and stronger internals from the factory. bolt on and reliable upgrade. I'll just need to also find the ECU intercooler and fuel pump which could be tough. But id also like some suggestions on what to do. Impersonal believe that going for the 4E-FTE is the safest and most budget friendly option in the long run for actual performance. the car is currently making 85hp on the wheels and with the Engine from the glanza it will jump to 135hp. may not sound like much but it's very noticeable since it's kinda light. I would also like some handling improvement suggestions. since it doesn't handle so well. (boat effect and front feels floaty)
It runs like nothing happened -- Do you think this is drivable for a day or two until I get it to the shop?
2016 S. I have an appointment Friday morning with body shop, but could I drive it to and from work for 2 days (20 minutes each way)? It runs fine, but is there a safety issue?

Beyond Solution Finish?
The rubber trim on my 08 Matrix is showing its age. And having the paint color Super White II is not helping. She’s def getting up there in age. But still super reliable.
Has anyone had luck with just using solution finish or VRP in cases like this? Or is this going to be a multi step product/process?
I know a bit about detailing. I wash and wax my own cars year round. Never use automatic washes. But stuff like this I’m lost on.
TIA!
EGR delete or no?
I just recently bought a 1997 Corolla just to daily drive and commute with, it threw a code for a clogged EGR, I cleared the code and have been driving it the last 2 days without the code coming back. Just curious if there’s any benefit to doing an EGR delete or just leave it be, I’ve owned some older Toyota pickups with the 22r and always did the delete when I upgraded my carbs and threw headers on but have no clue if it ever actually made a difference
Is a 2017 Toyota Corrolla SE with 157,000 miles for 10k worth it?
Title, I looked at the Carfax and it has been in two minor accidents. I will say that of the four owners it seemed like there were times where the oil was not changed for almost 10k miles. Overall, the car looked clean and was quiet when driving.
Advise to replace passenger side mirror
I have 2025 Corolla hybrid and my passenger side mirror got busted, blindspot is still working but the plastic around the mirror and cap is broken.
I visited a dealership and they said, I have to replace the whole mirror and quoted $450 ($325 for mirror assembly and $125 for painted cap). I tried to find it with nearby scrap yards (I am based in Halifax) but no luck. Looked for aftermarket option and that is way cheaper ($150 for assembly and $105 for painted cap).
Does it matter if i go with aftermarket parts instead of OEM since its just mirror?
I found the aftermarket part at huntparts.ca, please advise if any cheaper or better options are available.
2016 Toyota Yaris Hybrid – buzzing noise at stop or during braking (regenerative system?)
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a 2016 Toyota Yaris Hybrid (e-CVT), and I’m new to hybrid cars.
I’ve noticed a strange noise that happens sometimes when I’m braking or when the car comes to a complete stop. It sounds like a soft “zzzz” or electric/charging noise. It doesn’t happen all the time, only occasionally.
The car drives perfectly fine otherwise, no warning lights, no issues.
I recorded the sound — you can hear it clearly around the 6-second mark. You may need to increase the volume a bit:

Is this normal for a Toyota hybrid system (maybe related to regenerative braking or the brake system), or should I be concerned?
Thanks a lot for your help!
question about touch up paint for my corolla
I am planning to apply touch up paint to scratches and dings on my Corolla. There is one area approximately 1/4 inch in diameter where you can see bare metal underneath and than there is superficial rust overlying the metal. There is no rippling of the paint around the periphery of the bare metal, and it appears very localized. What type of prep do I need to do before I apply the touch up paint? Thank you in advance for feedback and advice.
Quiet snow tires
Hey all. Quick question - we’re coming out of winter (US) so I’m looking to get a set of snows at off-season prices for next year. Got my all-seasons (used through winter) mounted on aftermarket wheels and will have my factories fitted with the snows.
So, does anyone have brand recs for quiet snow tires? Asking because I had Sumitomo Ice Edge on a previous Corolla and there was so much more cabin noise than with the factory tires.
Size 215/45 R17 if that matters at all in this case.
Backup camera harness for 2015 Corolla

Need help identifying this leak - 2020 Corolla 2ZR-FE
Hey guys, I'm considering buying this Corolla 2020 (2ZR engine). It was involved in a front-end accident and the cooling system was repaired using a mix of water and green coolant.
I found this wet spot at the bottom of the engine. There's also some moisture near the throttle body clamps. Could this be the coolant/water mix dripping all the way down, or should I be worried about an oil leak? VIN: JTDEPRAE6LJ107682. Attached are the pictures. Thanks in advance!
Weird Noise when Parked
I parked tonight and I've heard this noise about 10 times. Usually every 20 seconds. Any idea what it is cuz I've never heard it before.
