Looking for 2 mods to help grow this community!

As this community starts picking up, I want to make sure it's shaped by the people who actually live this world — not just me.

Looking for:

- **1 person from the brand/marketing side** — you've worked with creators, run campaigns, dealt with agencies, know the pain

- **1 person from the creator side** — you've done brand deals, navigated sketchy contracts, waited too long to get paid

The job isn't complicated - help keep convos on topic, welcome new members, and be a voice that makes both sides feel like this is *their* space.

This community exists because brands and creators deserve to work together without a middleman eating 30% and ghosting both of you. If that resonates, drop a comment or DM me.

Has influencer marketing been working for you?

Has influencer marketing been a better strategy for your product/service over running ads?

How are you finding influencers? Is it really just searching on instagram and TikTok (is it called searching on TikTok? I’m sure I’m showing my age a bit here, but I don’t have a TikTok account) and sending them a DM?

Message in a bottle gifts looking for creator partners - 20%+ commission

Hello all!

Im Nick a former/part time carpenter who started an online business selling exactly what you'd think a carpenter sells...personalized message in a bottle gifts. Years ago I developed agoraphobia which agonizingly changed my whole life.

While I battle to get myself and a life back I wanted to build something I could do from home that actually meant something. Something positive, something that spreads love and shows people that others still care. Something physical that can be held because it's too easy to send a text nowadays. Our Message Bottles do just that, and they fill a real void in gifting - something more meaningful than just another card and more affordable than everything else, especially these days.

With limited content creation and social media experience I'm offering a 20% commission - which is $3-$4 on each $15-$20 product - because I could use some help. If submitting UGC I can go even higher for the right partnerships.

Check us out at messagebottleco.com. Helpful feedback always welcome.

With Mother's Day coming up - message me for a discount if you want to send one, or film someone's reaction to receiving one and I'll send it free.

Thanks everbody!

Did you work with Agencies??

Hey creators/ Brands!!

Quick question for those of you who’ve worked with agencies to land brand deals or brands worked with agencies to get content for marketing —

  1. What % cut did the agency take from your payment?

  2. Did you actually enjoy working with them, or was it more hassle than it was worth?

  3. Would you go back to using an agency, or do you prefer finding brands directly?

Asking because I’m curious how the agency model is actually working (or not working) for creators on the ground. Would love honest answers!
