fresh uni graduate looking for a job !!

(22F) i’ve just completed my accounting & finance degree and i’m having a hard time finding a job. It is no surprise that the market is dead and finding is impossible. Does anyone have any suggestions for where i should i apply for in Bolton or any nearby towns?

I have work experience in retail and i amazing customer service skills. I am adaptable and a quick learner too. I’m willing to join any role as long as it isn’t physically demanding. I can also drive.

Any tips will be appreciated 😌

Thank you Bolton

I have just been to Bolton for two weeks working with my employers new client. I have never been to Bolton or even driven through, but what an amazing town you have, the people are mostly friendly, the variety of food meant I never ate the same thing twice. I went to some pubs (Inc the 3 crowns) and loved the atmosphere and the quality of pints, but most of all how all the pubs were very inviting and never made me feel uncomfortable. The Bolton Stadium (Tough Sheet) is amazing as well. Characters galore and a huge shout out to Carrs pastries I took two bags home with me. Overall I love the town and though I have only seen it for two weeks, I will be back to visit your brilliant town 🫶

Hi All,

I've recently moved to Horwich after getting a job in Manchester. I find it the perfect location for me. Not too far from anywhere, easily commutable to Manchester via the train and the moors next door.

I've been looking to purchase a new built Bellway property at the Barton Quarter development. I like the property and the location close to Middlebrook and the train station and all. However doing my research I've found out issues with contaminated soil from the old railway works which used to function at the site.

I was wondering if anyone with more knowledge of the area or knowledge in the industry could advice me on how much of an issue the contaminated soil could be if I buy a house there in the future? Could I trust Bellway to have done a proper job at cleaning up the soil before they built the houses to sell? I see there are already plenty of people living there and the houses appear to be selling fast. I would really appreciate any advice you have to give. Thank you so much!!!

We agreed among us - my whole family that we would vote tories but I secretly voted reform. Didn't expect them to actually win. Now I feel guilty for lying to them and am panicking because I don't know what will happen. My girlfriend and I are at the same university and she is from Singapore.
