I have travel insurance with my metal Revolut plan, and I have a long haul trip booked for August. I called and enquired and after a while of looking, the employee informed me that essentially, if a lockdown were to happen the trip would not be covered. I didn’t get the type of ticket that can be refunded because it was so much more expensive, but now I’m wondering if it was a bad decision? I am able to change the date for a fee though. Does anyone have insurance that would cover cancellation in the event of a lockdown? I just want to be prepared just incase the hantavirus gets worse. Thank you!

I live in the south but work a live in job in Bolton, and long story short I get to leave this shift at 9, but my train is in the afternoon 😂 it’ll be a Sunday, any recommendations for what to spend the time doing? Thank you!

Does anyone have experience with hair dye transferring onto the hostels pillow cases? What happened in this situation? My friend thinks that the hostels wouldn’t care, but I think that they would probably charge money afterwards to the card paid with?

Asking because when I was in Japan I stayed in a hotel and because of a problem with their drainage system, the water came up through the floor drain and stained the towel you use to step out of the shower onto, and I ended up paying a lot for it 😂 so I’m obviously not looking to go around staining stuff after that but I wanted to know if it’s worth bringing my own pillow case on the off chance some does transfer.
