bluesky's lack of algo/anti-algo/whatever, is really getting annoying

First you have all the foul, diaper-shitting-furry accounts that constantly pass right through the useless filters which in itself gross and disgusting, yet every time you block one, it's as if bluesky goes "oh well then here's six more on your Discovery feed." The whole point of blocking particular shit constantly is that you don't want to see anymore of it, yet it is always opposite day on bluesky, apparently. Nobody wants to see your creepo poopie diaper baby dragon bullshit or whatever other gross shit, and the platform really needs to get on the fucking ball with making filters, etc. more effective.

Recommend BlueSky clients to me

I’m pretty new to Bluesky and was curious what desktop/mobile apps people are actually using these days.

Official app only? Graysky? Skeets? Anything else?

Interested in hearing what people settled on and what makes them stick with one client over another.

What is going on with the mods? Are they easily bribed or drunk?

These blockings seem a bit too politically motivated to me and the simple fact that there isn't a reason provided is a major weakness in bsky's federated network system (compared to git's requirement to label all actions taken).

Gay Thirst Trap Posts

Is there a way besides keywords to get rid of all the gay thirst traps that show up in the What’s Hot Classic feed? I use this tab to try finding stuff outside my Following list and every 10th post is either gay thirst traps, adult diaper play, or furry porn, none of which interest me or relate to anything I search.

In 2026 so far:

- Rituals — 41M customers exposed

- Crunchyroll — 8M support records stolen

- Medtronic — 9M medical records breached

- Match dating apps — millions of documents

- McGraw-Hill — 45M records claimed

- ADT — extorted by ShinyHunters

And it's only May.

Every breach has one thing in common:

your data was sitting on their server.

Bluesky is still messed up on browser.

I can't seem to login via my browser after a few days. The system keeps asking me for my birthday info but when I click on the button to add in the info it keeps giving me an error message. What is going on?

Too many bots of late and just a heads up if you get a message, you think might be a bot, just go to google translate or the like and translate something like I am well, how are you today into another language and if the bot replies in English, it's more than likely a bot. If you want to be sure do it again in another completely different language.
I have reported at least 6 or 7 in the last few days.
