THIS IS MY OPINION

So i have been a fan of some blizzard games for more than a decade now(diablo2-3-4, overwatch, hearthstone and now i recently got into StarCraft 2 (i will not mention cod for our sanity purposes) , and i have sadly seen the decline in player interest and what they enjoy, instead they are trying there best to morph games and the players into what they see as a profitable business strategy.

recently i quit hearthstone since what they did to the game should be considered criminal, atm most of the cards are rng based so rng determines how good a card is, either a discover , draw a card or get a card from opponents deck, knowing this and knowing hearthstone has been trying there best the past few year to keep everyone close to a 50% win rate regardless of your skill it really seems like they are altering games to control your win rates, also arena has changed and went from having to win 2 games to get your investment back into having to win 6 games to even break even.

saying this i have also notice every single time i open battle net i get a "what is new" post that always redirects me to the store, like can you guys put some effort into no making it so obvious you are money hungry and don't give a poop about players?

i recently downloaded StarCraft 2 (where skill actually matters) and i have to give props where props are due, this game has to be the best game i have ever played and it has not received any actual help or big updates from blizzard in years, could it be that i am actually loving this game since blizzard stop carrying about it so they dint ruin it like they did the others?

with the TikTok brains we have now a game like sc3 would be the biggest title they would have ever released maybe other than wow since people need something need to take them away from tiktok algos and tiktok brain style games.

i really hope they make a change for the better and change there infrastructure that can only be supported by draining players wallets in exchange for nothing.

i miss the old blizzard.

Title says it all -- over 30 y/o gamer, with not-so-much time to game, I've played both games for ages.. To add a bit of color though, I MUCH prefer WASD movement to click-to-move.

I probably solo game about 10-20 hours a week, used to love PvP / raids in WoW but found the *required to be impactful* niche knowledge about each class to be incredibly cumbersome. I absolutely LOVED my Demon Hunter in the D4, but did find that I got a bit stagnant end game and there was no PvP to fill the void.

SO -- Question for theeeee -which would be a better game to play?

Lastly - thx for any input, looking forward to finding a game to chill at night and jam.

Why? This isn't even diablo stuff. Top right shows the pentagram with the goat face, the sigil of baphomet, which is explicitly a modern satanic symbol and not even part of diablo lore.
I know most people on this subreddit will probably simp for blizzard, but how can you not think this is in poor taste?

I cant speak for other languages or other games than D4 and WoW, but the german translation has been absolute garbage recently. Text gets copy+pasted when the meaning is totally different. Effects get worded very weirdly or symbols like "%" sneak into the descriptions when the effect has a flat value, not percentage.

Some effects are just straight up in english, simply overlooked.

This is not about bad dialogue, this is about different options having THE EXACT SAME TEXT when they are literally different choices of how to craft on an item.

Fix your stupid AI translations Blizz. I used to play every Blizz game in german because the translations were GOOD. Now i double-check wowhead or ask friends just to know what my set effects actually do.
