Rice and Life

The rice that sustains life, and the lives that sustain rice

A "give and take" relationship, the sides of the coin that flip.

Some questions regarding post suitability

Some questions regarding post suitability

  1. Does this sub accept scenes like sunsets (e.g figure above) as long as it includes non-urban elements (e.g. mountains, trees, sea, etc.)?

  2. What flair should the image above have?

  3. Is it appropriate to have "landscape scenery" flair?

5 hours and 5 members (Already? That was quick!)

Very weirdly the other stats haven't loaded but it's really nice that lot's of people are joining, I think 2-3 are from r/funComunitty but I can tell this sub will probably get popular. Ahh yes, nature.

Which plant is you favourite and why?

Personally, my favourite is number 11, it's simple and the colour is beautiful

Do you prefer butterflies or moths, and why?

I absolutely love both, butterflies definitely have colour, but the few moths which have colour are full of, just like the top right one (Pink and yellow) pretty sure those are really rare. Also when you look at moths up close they are very adorable, only thing I don't like is the tiny moths that fly in my bedroom. "Let me sleep!"

My mom's cactus

I bought this cactus for my mom on mother's day a few years ago because it looked like a heart (my dad got one that looked like a [censored]). My dad's cactus died while mine survived and flourished. Just wanted to share that, is my cactus nice?

What's your favourite fish?

Sharks are fish but I mean like general fish fish, my favourite is probably sword fishes, they're just really cool. Colours, and of course the 'sword' or spined snout or whatever you call it.

I’ve studied paleontology essentially my whole life— AMA!

I really like dromeasauridae specifically, but I also like hadrosaurs and some theropod families!
