Feel like I just got scammed
I was looking to get a price match for a product at my local microcenter. Best buy had it on their website and I started chatting with an agent. After investigating, he told me to buy the product on the website and he would connect me to someone who would help me get the price match.
So I bought it as he said. Afterwards they said they won't honor the price match because they can't add the product to the cart on the website. Microcenter only sells in store. Does that mean they don't price match Microcenter at all?
I thought it was listed as one of the qualified competitors? Then you could never price match them based on that criteria. Very frustrating, but whatever. After chatting for an hour I just want it cancelled. Nope. They can't. Well problem is, is that item is 'Final Sale, Non-returnable'.
I only bought it because the agent told me to buy it and it would be price matched. Now I have to somehow refuse delivery or get them to send someone to pick it up. Is all this ill will and extra work really worth the $20 price match?? I don't see how that even make financial sense let alone customer good will.
